Silver lining to a big dark cloud

Remaining sympathetic to those who've lost relatives, their income, or the whole host of hardships this is causing. This post isn't to distract from that, but to try to find the small amount of upsides some people are seeing. The silver lining to the huge dark cloud

    I'll start...

Noticed quite a few new walkers/joggers this morning even though it was cold and light rain. Not only that a couple said good morning to me as I passed (That rarely happens round here). People taking up exercise and looking after their health more.

Any gyms that are open (at least for now?) are much quieter, getting a choice of squat rack, that never happens!

People actually wiping exercise equipment like they're supposed to.

Doctors, nurses, ambulance staff, healthcare and emergency services all being shown more respect and support (as they should have had all the time)
Faith in Jesus first and faith in squats second.
Then other details will start to slot themselves into place.
Diet restarted, target 69.x Kg, progress poor so far :(

    Wow, a very worthwhile career.
Wonder what'll happen with conditional offers if exams are cancelled, who knows, they'll have to work that out when/if the time comes. Maybe if they're happy with her they can just convert to unconditional

Adding to the list, whilst out trying to buy loo roll, dried pasta, etc (no luck) - I saw someone had left in a trolley ("shopping cart" to you Americans) a note offering with a phone number to help anyone in the local area if they have to isolate for 2 weeks and can't cope with getting basic supplies.

    - people will be less wasteful

    - I’m optimistic that people will be more united, and realize most of the sh!t people have been arguing about for the past 15 years doesn’t really matter when things get serious

    - people will be more hygienic

    - insanely cheap stocks will be/are available

    - people will realize the importance of being self sufficient, or at least prepared to get through a month or two with no assistance(food, medicine, and probably most importantly- money in savings....something that a lot of people have been horrible about)

    - I think that self-sufficiency will also carry over to the national level as each country will realize it’s a good idea to produce their own critical supplies, or at least enough to keep onhand in case of an emergency

    - a lot more traffic on this site for the next month or two

People on the forum are still mean creeps, for instance EL called me selfish, hey bud, I’ve went to the store every mother phucking day because selfish *******s grabbed all the stuff.

I still work everyday and am swamped, Which makes it hard to scramble for milk and bread and eggs.

So everyday, I go into multiple stores when on a normal day I don’t go anywhere, how does this help the situation EL?????

I think they have 3 options, convert to unconditional, give out predicted grades, or give our mock exam grades. Nothing we can do but wait.....

Another thing that kind of ties in to my 2nd prediction; people will get to know their neighbors better. As long as the weather is nice a lot more people will be out in their yards and out & about in their neighborhood.Couple that with the fact that everyone has a conversation starter, and I’m hopeful communities will get a lot more tightly knit.

Everyone in the neighborhood has been out walking their dogs in the sports field behind our house (which is contrary to city bylaws).

It's like living in a leash-free dog park, while working from home and listening to barking dogs go crazy every day all day whilst I'm trying to work.

Owait…...that's not a silver lining, is it?
