Perfect, you haven't had an "argument" to back up any of the garbage that's come from your keyboard, nor address what I corrected you on. It's like talking to a wall, but a wall that somehow has downs.

The reason this isn't priced in is because no one knows what the economic damage will be. This will not be a V shaped recovery. And for those thinking the country is going off of lockdown in May, just lol. Trump may try for it but even if you were to go back, restauraunts, bars, travel, will be limited. Regardless, there will be a resurgence in the virus if people go back in May. I would be shocked if major cities are allowed to come back before June 1st.

At this pont, people aren't investing, they are just gambling.

Damn, this thread is still full of people trying to call tops and bottoms? Meanwhile, I'm out here chilling on some gains from a few companies I bought with good fundamentals, making my bimonthly allocations to my 401K/$VT/$VIG holdings every Friday, and keeping some dry powder ready in case I can get in on my companies for even lower. I've also used the downtime at work to learn some coding that'll hopefully get me higher pay in the future instead of checking my account every 10 minutes.

I may not get retire in 5 years like options brahs, but I got say, damn it feels good to be a long-term buyer.

Looking at getting into Blackstone ($BX). I think private equity is going to go back to outperforming public markets with this downturn. Lots of them have dry powder they can put to use, plus valuations are lower, so less likely to have a winner's curse issue. Anyone else looking into them?

Do you have a % mark that you’re looking for in order to sell? Looking to pocket or reinvest those profits?

I've also used the downtime at work to learn some coding that'll hopefully get me higher pay in the future instead of checking my account every 10 minutes.

I may not get retire in 5 years like options brahs, but I got say, damn it feels good to be a long-term buyer.

Because if you guess correctly on movement you make massive gains. You can make 10-100x times gains than you ever will with straight stock bet.

You buying BA at $100 and selling at say $200 would require $20K investment to make solid gain.

Now buying $1000 of calls and hitting correctly like some did today buying RCL calls they gained 900% in one day. Their risk is lot smaller than $20K investment on BA that went from $90 to $180 to $120. And now $140.

You simply don't get chances like this during normal times.

That being said premiums and volatility are stupid right now. But its not impossible to make right call.

I have price targets that act as resistance and support levels. Major one 24600 and so long as we're below it, the DJIA is not in a position to sustain any meaningful rally. I'm already bought all I could in my retirement account, this is for trading.
Also, the coronavirus will peak this week. But the markets still have technicals that they must obey before news or whatever can reflect it.

Get called a phaggot, act like a phaggot. Makes sense.

But why did you quote me and then talk about someone talking about MMM? Is it because back on March 25th I wrote:

and MMM was trading at $128 at that moment... But your posts just don't make sense:

Rode a SPY call immediately at open til closing...gains. Until Feds stop pumping, being bearish isn't going to work. Just gonna ride the wave. No point in using logic and fundamentals anymore. SPX went up 7% today.

Those are great points. I can see how options are useful for near bankruptcy scenarios like RCL/BA. In those cases, the underlying equity has the potential to basically go to $0, so it might be better to bet on a huge upside move in options and say, "either I lose $1000 or I make $9000" than say "either I lose $2000, or I make $4000". I should read more on options for long-term speculation plays and how to avoid overpaying on premium. That's the part that I never liked about options - I have to be right in direction, magnitude, and timing, which is really hard to do.
