I've got Grubhub (GRUB) as people are literally forced to deliver. NFLX and ROKU as people binge watch even more than normal. Anything else?

Was surprised to see so much green this morning. Ended up closing out MMM and LUV with some gains and will go in later if the price is right. MMM has a lot of drama going on right now so this looks like a bad news pump before it dips way down again. LUV of course saw a gain after buffet drops a portion of his holdings, but they have to see a substantial decrease in the immediate future considering how little they are operating, including 56 flights without a single passenger last week...

It might, but the Fed will likely continue this until our currency is worthless.

The Fed won't allow the market to crash. They'd rather the dollar crash before the market.

No conspiracy, but it's a brilliant move. With the massive amount of debt held by corporations and the government, what better way to erase it all than making the currency worthless?

I purchased VOO at 235 and just sold at 239. It was in the 220s all last week. Pretty sure it’s gonna drop a lot more and I’ll get back in.

MSM has all week to scare the markets down.

Not conspiracy, but market is not acting logical.

I am no doubting fed are at moment eating up all the debt no matter how bad the company is.

But they can't swallow up every industry and just erase their debt.

US dollar like you said would be worth nothing in future.

Is it really going to devalue it though if everyone on the planet is doing the exact same thing?

Looking at currency values for about 2 minutes seems to point the dollar is staying strong.

This. Every printer on earth is pumping full tilt.

Btw, I know this isn't the crypto thread, but btc is not really crashing, and I expected that to be $1,000 by now.

But they can't swallow up every industry and just erase their debt.

US dollar like you said would be worth nothing in future.
The US is essentially doing a defacto default on it's debts by printing more dollars and making the debt servicing costs less painful since it's all denominated in dollars. What's sad/funny is the dollar is still remaining strong, so other countries devaluing their currency is only causing more people to flee to the dollar and making their dollar-denominated debts even more painful on a relative basis.

I strongly believe this pump is because Cuomo reported a 50% decline in daily cases yesterday. You give the people the slightest bit of “good news” and the market pumps. Reality will come this week and we will see more dips.

I closed 3 positions today but will go back in during next dip. Then again, might just dump all that into BRKB and leave my other 5 stocks alone

    Holy chit srs?!?

Related, 2 people that my wife knows through work (doesn’t work immediately with them) died over the past 5 days of covid. Both late 40’s. Multiple kids each. What’s scary is that there’s rumblings that their department was urging people to downplay potential spread. Now 13 people are being quarantined until tests come back, and they have been ordered to go radio silent.
