"People once believed, that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes the crow could bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."

the interest saved is often >$3000 and you can potentially sink all that cash into investments and make more while making a smaller payment over 7 years. Let’s use 30k for example, over 7 years at 3% is around $3300 in interest. You take that same 30k you would have bought a car with cash and invest it for 7 years at 5% and it would be worth over 42k.

I’m 300 yards from main dealers for Bentley, Aston Martin, McLaren, Porsche, plus Lamborghini and Range Rover franchises. I can’t see any of them selling a single car for months. I think I’d be pleasantly surprised what £50k cash got me right now..

Idk why you guys think they are just giving cars away. Theyve almost all slimmed their employees down from 15+ to around 5(not including mechanics) and are making ends meet doing service work alone. Which is their bread and butter. Go try, I guarantee you’re not walking out with anything respectable. You may get a nice deal, but they aren’t taking 50k off an almost new Audi like ^^ or anything similar

The mclaren dealer alone has at least 60 cars on the forecourt rotting. They’re not my cup of tea anyway, but let’s say they start at £200k and I walk in with half that..what choice do they have? My bet would be he’ll spend a day making phone calls with head office and they’ll sign me up to a NDA. They have cash to pay the bills and one less car rotting.

Winner winner chicken dinner
Dealers will discount cars, especially going the online route for new, but there is a limit on how much of a loser deal a dealership can take.
For the unaware, dealers are LESS likely to get you the lowest price if they know you're only paying cash because there's no way to make money on the back end with financing or upgrades. If you want the best price, your best bet is to set local dealerships of the same brand against each other and see who gives you the best deal. Your salesperson will hate your guts because they will barely make anything at all on that mini deal, but they'll still accept it and smile in your face.
As for people ITT talking about people HAVING to accept cash and selling a new car at half price, just no. There is no profit in that at all and that would not make any goddamn sense.
They can't pay the bills because the car did not sell for a profit and somebody is getting canned for accepting the worst deal of all time.Last edited by Muzzlrpress; 04-03-2020 at 08:10 AM.

I’d say 99.9% of the time you’d be correct. But right here, right now, it’s an extraordinary time that no one predicted. All companies need cash, right away, and especially luxury car makers. That means fire sale, that means selling at a loss. That’s the game.

your right I'm literally just looking at V3 as we speak lol I realized with the amount of money I'll end up spend into it I could get a newer, better car
Only a few superficial reasons, interior is pretty cramped for anyone in back seat, car feels pretty heavy at times and lack of visibility is sometimes a bitch other than that I love the car

V2's are still amazing man. Engine is bulletproof, not sure how well the trans is, especially when tuned which makes a huge difference to modern day GM auto's. But you said your V2 is stock right? Honestly if it had a bit more tech, i would have gotten that instead of a scat pack for a daily.
V3's are awesome and i agree, what they're asking for now, even used, is a chit ton of money. If it wasn't for that dumb ass trans GM put. Phuck. If they just used a ZF 8 speed, that might have been the best daily/weekend 4 door car. But because it doesn't have a ZF, the charger hellcat is a better all around 4 door around the price range.
With the dodge power dollars, you can get into a brand new 2020 hellcat charger, (or a leftover 2019 narrow body) for under 70k. Some dude on the forum picked up his 2019 brand new for 62k. After power dollars.

Yes its still stock, and I agree about the tech. If it was manual I could see myself keeping it a bit longer.
Yes I think the dodge is the best bang for buck for sure. I actually like the chargers and hellcat as well, I'ma def test everything out prior to pulling the trigger on anything
Hopefully some amazing deals pop up, eyeing these two for now. The charger might have some issues as its from Auction tho

Christ, those are canadian prices too??? Not bad at all! Especially the hellcat.
Honest if given the choice between those 2 cars, without a doubt the hellcat. Faster, more stout trans, engine just as good as the LT4. The hellcat has a way better blower though. The stock SC on the LT4's are good, but they choke up pretty easily.
The V3 CTSV is an amazing car but overpriced. Even used they're still overpriced. It still has a chitty auto and the cue infotainment system is one of the worse out there. You're basically paying whatever price of that V for the engine and the looks. It does look pretty good.
Also with the V, gotta be careful with the early year models. They suffer from the same symptoms the C7 Z06 guys go through with the auto. Not the overheating, but with the TC and shuddering issue. What corvette guys do when they get their auto Z is install a range module. To disable AFM.
Some people try the triple flush, install the AFM disable module and even then sometimes that doesn't work. Which results in the dealer having to replace the TC.
I think the hellcat will be more of a bulletproof car if you decide to beat on it often. I think with caddy, they suspect the owners to be middle to older men that will "sometimes" get on it but not beat on it like an average owner with a hellcat would. So i would think more parts would break with the caddy. But that's IMO.
If i was looking for a fast 4 door, a hellcat charger is the only thing that comes to mind. In that price range.
