Unhappy Vitamin/supplements to help recover from injury quicker

I have a severely sprained knee that I have been working through in the gym and my laboring job. Just cant take it anymore. Its been 2 months with little improvement. Physical therapy has been done, chiropractic care, massage, foam rolling, strengthening exercises and have added glucosamine and creatine to my regimen. I also take probiotics and a multivitamin. They have prevented other aches and pains and recovery but this knee is going to be the death of me. What is left to do?

I dont care if it's a test booster, deer antler, vitamin c or whatever! What has worked for you or someone you know for injury recovery?

Did you go to an actual medical doctor and get an xray or MRI?

I've had an xray that showed nothing. I can get an MRI if I finish 10 sessions of physical therapy (how my insurance works).

Forgot to mention I've been taking 1-2 caps of curcumin every day. Definitely more useful than acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Only helps swelling though which doesnt seem to be causing pain.

Have you addressed the back of your knee? I had knee pain until I did some deep tissue massage when my calf inserts at the back of the knee. I really dug my thumb into the area and it helped the pain fairly quick.

No. It's pretty painful there. Feels like I'm getting stabbed through the back of my knee into the patella. I'll try it again though.

MRI is your best bet. Otherwise it's a crap shoot. Also, you don't want to mask the underlying issue that's going on. I'm currently going through PT from a torn ACL and meniscus. Along with a strained PCL and LCL. I had surgery in December to address what they could.
