How do I start working out after hernia surgery

I just had hernia surgery 4 weeks ago and want to begin lifting weights. What exercises are good/bad to do 4 weeks after hernia surgery?

You should ask your doctor/surgeon this and not a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Walking is the best until you're cleared by your surgeon
