Question Gow bad is it to include some ground turkey breast in my diet?

Is everything that is ground bad for you? I mean do they do anything to it? Because I could add some variety to my diet if I knew ground turkey or even chicken (if they make it) i good for a cutting diet.

I personally think its a good source of protein assuming whatever ground source you use is low fat.

I like 96% fat free lean ground beef and use it to make healthy taco's (low carb tortilla's), stuffed bell peppers, etc..
    Cutting - 6' 3" - 28 yrs
Jan 10th - 219 lbs (end of winter dirty bulk)
    July 30th - 192lbs - Approx 9% bf

Hey Falkon, I would like to know how you make your stuffed bellpeppers. Sounds like a good Idea, I never thoght of them fitting into my diet. I assume you use bread crumbs, but I wonder if is enough to mess me up on my carbs?

I worked at a turkey processing plant out of high school. The ground turkey is a good source of protein, but by eating it you will take in much unwanted material. The pull the skin off of the turkeys and mix it in with the burger. This gives the meat texture, but adds much unwanted fat. I would avoid ground turkey burger and sausage and opt for solid cuts of meat, if affordable.

So, why would we need to avoid fats?
