    Just last week I got up to my working sets for deadlifts, felt like crap so said fuk it and bailed. Sometimes it's just not worth pushing it if you're too fatigued.

    Only time I've ever stopped a workout completely was due to injury. If I'm not feeling what I had planned that day I might change the movements/intensity, but I've never quit complety just because I was feeling lazy/tired.

    I've always maintained that the hardest part is peeling your ass off the sofa so if I've made it that far I'm going to go through with the workout. It's not always going to be a knock it out of the park balls to the wall session but besides the few times a serious injury happened I'll finish the workout.

    Yeah I probably do it 1-2 times per month, mainly in my HIIT class. Sometimes I’m just fuking gassed after working out 5-6 days in a row, and I don’t have any energy or stamina and I’m basically wasting my time.

    It’s never from sheer laziness, it’s because I get there and realize that I need a rest day.

    Fortunately it's never happened to me yet. When I feel like that, I just slow down the pace a bit and add a few acclimation sets before the main sets. Because I know most of the time after my body finally gets warmed up it can do the work better than I felt at the start.

    But that's me, people who know their own body should trust their own judgement if they feel like something's off after a few sets, in order to avoid unnecessary injury risks. I'd do the same if I suspect it's a pain from a possible injury.

    lol same. A couple of times due to "not feeling it." Head just isnt in it. Mind is wandering, lifts dont feel right, etc. Also a couple of times due to injury. Go down on a squat and my knee doesnt feel right or something like that. Im not getting on stage any time soon so I have no reason to push it. Cutting a workout short and taking another day off is better than getting hurt and needing to take weeks off or more.

    Only a few times that I can recall. Usually, if i can get a pump going then i'm good. I do recall the first time i took CBD though (i'm not a smoker btw) and abotu 15 min in, all i wanted was a nap and couldnt get past it at all. So i just popped smoke and bailed.

    Have visited snap city a few times and had to disappear before. Plenty of times but IIRC, those were a long time ago.

    In 14 years I've only bailed on two workouts, one where I tweaked my lower back so bad I had trouble getting off the floor and walking out of the gym, the other was an overworked shoulder with indescribable pain. I've worked through chest pain, shoulder scares, nosebleeds, ripped callouses and plates dropped on my feet.

    Yep same a couple other mentioned, if the headphones go dead in the middle of training I usually last about 5 more minutes and bail.
    Need the metal to keep me in the zone can't stand what they play over the PA.

    This. There've been a few times where I just didn't even make it TO the gym because I wasn't feeling it. But once I get there, it's very rare that I'll leave without finishing a workout. If I really feel like crap, I might modify it or lower intensity but if I've made it to the gym I'm going to do something while I'm there.

    Only 2 times I ever legit stopped mid workout and left was once when I dislocated my shoulder and another time when I almost fainted (most likely due to blood sugar from working out fasted late in the day).

    the last time I went to the gym, I bussed 30 mins, walked 5 mins up a hill and when I got to the front door I sighed and said **** this..
    turned around, walked down the hill and went home. was so over it. Felt like I was just in a hamster wheel doing all that hard work for nothing. Had no energy, girls were ignoring me no matter how aesthetic I got.. I was done.

    havent been since then and that was a year ago lol. beat that

    Yeah once every now and then when I'm not feeling it, usually I wake up the next day with a cold or something so just an early signal I guess.
