I mean I think it was OP before the August nerf. They increased long range headshot damage but decreased the chest damage a good chunk. I'm not saying I'd want one in a close quarters fight, but for picking off people at medium range it's still awesome.

PKM with snatch grip and tac laser make the ads faster if not the same as AR set ups.

You could get rid of tac laser for sleight of hand though and still have fast ads.

My Braun(mono suppress, mando foregrip, VLK optik, 60 round mag, and long barrell)+MP5(integrated mono suppress, slight of hand, stipled grip, merc grip, 40rnd mag) combination has really been working wonders for me lately, I've been dominating with it from early came right to end game, picked up a couple more solo victories the last few days with that loadout.

this is my OK loadout too and can confirm this works. tho when im in quads i barely use my MP5 cuz we get a load out early then quickly get ghost for the first drop (go for either GRAU or FAL)

I get ghost fairly early on as well.

I drop Superstore, pick up 10k cash really fast, leave Superstore and call in a loadout, grab my Braum+MP5 and then either get another 10k quickly at SS or wait for the first zone loadout to drop and then grab ghost along with my braum+mp5.

lately we've been hitting either port of train station, lotta ppl still dont drop there even though there's lots of crates inside, in our quad games we're either the only ones inside or fight maybe 1 team

You guys don't get ****ed over by your tac laser though? I was running 1776 which was an awesome rifle with Tac Laser, but would take it off.

I use the Aug as the counterpart to my FAL, just because it was the SMG I had the most levels on. I figured I'd be better off grinding it further and getting more new cool chit vs starting another gun from scratch. Have the AUG set up as a super fast-aiming short range gun - no optic, no grip, lightweight stock, extended mag, chit like that.

A little birdie told me if I'm on pc to change my fov to 120 and under where it says advanced change it to affected.

Takes a little getting used to but guns have very little or no recoil. I was playing on 110 fov before

thats the general build you are going to use on all ars if your limiting recoil. Now if you are using a sniper, you can remove the VLK and put on something like a tac laser or a different stock. I would leave the VLK on the M13 though. If you can hit your head shots at medium range with it, it is brutal.

I tried out the AMAX, I leveled mine up to 68 so I could use the mono suppress however I'm not a big fan of it in WZ, I don't like the recoil.

The Braum/MP5 or the Kilo+Origin12 has been my go-to lately, really doing well with those set ups.

FAL has still won me alot of gun fights. Sounds like the damage was straight broken before the nerf.
