    Are you taking anything to boost your immune system?

    In addition to the usual OT I started using Kyolic's Immunity formula and every few days I'll take some extra Zinc, debating picking up some Epicor. Has anybody else upped their supp intake to help combat potential illness?

    Personally no. Chances are I won't get it and if I do the doctors will be able to cure my corona easily.
    My normal supplement stack when not in competition prep:1-3 scoops of whey/day I usually take MTS whey but I have had good results with Dymatize or Optimum too.
    5-10 grams of creatine monohydrate per day(if taken 10 grams 2 dosages per day
    5000 IU Vitamin D per day
    1-2 fish oil capsules a day
    BCAAS 5-10 grams on training days only.

    I haven't changed anything. Orange Triad, an additional 2-5k D3 most of the year, and then either health iq or beat/shell/gutbac. Fish Oil obviously.

    I do usually mean to take ZMA before bed, but usually forget...should probably do that. I haven't even looked at Kyolic's thing, wife take their aged garlic and I sometimes do as well...will take a look at that

    I take a multi (not OT) as needed versus daily. So when my intake of micros may be lower for the day or when traveling etc I take one.

    Another interesting point is that testosterone, like other steroid hormones, is immunosuppressive (one of the reasons men experience way less autoimmune disease compared to women).

    Not well versed in that literature, and there is a lot of debate about it despite it being a pretty clear effect (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles...018.00794/full).

    I don't think it significantly affects one's susceptibility to common illnesses unless you're closer to the tails of the distribution (really low or really high compared to average). You can think about it like cortisol, another immunosuppressive steroid hormone. We all have cortisol yet still have competent immune systems, but people with higher cortisol levels generally have less robust immune responses than those with lower cortisol levels.
