Anyone grab any good BF sales?
I picked up 2 bottles of fish oil here, and some Alphamine and TruMulti 30% off at the PES site.
Didn't really need much this time around.
I wish I could find some Scivation Flexatril online, I know it's disco'ed and I dont even care, that was my favorite joint product.

I eventually caved on the new Mesomorph - Cotton Candy Carnival because I remember loving that one.
I'm also awfully tempted by the MuscleSport Italian Rainbow Cookie flavor...
Spoiler!
I just have no idea how it would even taste as a protein powder (chocolate + almond sponge cake + jam?).
Aside from that, I was initially stoked about the Ghost holiday flavor this year of Frosted Sugar Cookie, but then I read the Priceplow coverage on the macros:
Calories: 150
Protein: 25g
Carbohydrates: 6g
Fat: 3g
The article's wording makes it seem like Ghost somehow managed to cram in enough sprinkles to muck up the macros:
"The Ghost Whey Frosted Sugar Cookie is a bit higher in calories than other Ghost Whey flavors, however, it’s definitely worth it considering how many inclusions (sprinkles) are inside every scoop."
It doesn't list the serving size, which can vary by Ghost's flavors, but even the Marshmallow Cereal is only 130 calories and 5g of carbohydrates - with actual marshmallow pieces.
This is my beef with not just Ghost, but a lot of companies that insist on adding these stupid "inclusions" that contribute nothing to the flavor that modern flavor science can not merely replicate, but frankly outperform given the medium. I.e., only a serial killer dips their Chips Ahoy! cookies in water, which is what most people use for their protein shakes, and I challenge anyone to taste the actual Oreo in a cookies and cream* when the crumbs are pinprick dots.
*Quest actually makes a point to put protein cookie pieces in their cookies and cream at least.
I'm just disappointed in Ghost sabotaging their own protein macros again, but this time it's apparently for something as utterly flavorless as sprinkles. I don't think I've ever seen even cake batter protein powders with real sprinkles shift the macros to such an insane degree. And the thing is that I've done an experiment with both their Chips Ahoy! and Nutter Butter protein powders where I sifted out as much of the cookie bits as humanly possible and the base tastes incredible without the bits.
Anyway, that's my spiel. /OCDI will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

Big fan of SNS and my 6 months worth of Cissus XT just came in today and I ran 2 jars of M-Test and reviewed
over at AM back in Oct. It's a decent herbal booster that gets really good feedback but it didn't blow me away and
for me I prefer Get Diesel's Diesel Test Hardcore. I was gonna pull the trigger on 2 jars of Anabolic Effect by CEL which
also gets decent feedback but then I thought I wasn't impressed in the past from other brands natural boosters from
PES, Myokeem, PerformMaxx, so I went with something that I now works for me straight TongKat. I picked up 2 jars
from Nootropic Depot 1 is the 2% extract at 200mg, and the other is the 10% extract at 100mg. Never tried TongKat
from this brand before so early next year I'll run each jar at different times and I'll post feedback.

Well, I did say "/OCD."
But specifically for the frosted sugar cookie flavor, I'm just kind of dumbfounded by the idea of them throwing in that many sprinkles because even from the pure flavor perspective, that flavor really is just "sugar, corn syrup/starch, and food wax." Sugar cookie sounded like a really interesting flavor, but it's more than just sugary vanilla,
More broadly, mix-ins just strike me as a gimmick that doesn't add enough, and sometimes is there to mask an otherwise lackluster flavor profile. You can do absolutely insane things with modern flavor science that comes off like magic, so it's a weak excuse to me.
Dymatize is probably the best example here of having your cake and eating it, too, as they went with edible glitter for the bursts of color for their Fruity Pebbles Iso100, nailing the flavor, and keeping the macros solid.
More personally, however, I plain don't like the flavor of the mix-ins because I otherwise don't eat refined sugars or anything like what they sometimes load these powders with, and a large part of the appeal of these crazy flavors is retaining the taste without the spike of sugar. But again, that is a really personal, health-related issue/sensitivity (long story) that is going to be way in the minority of complaints. The closest thing to a mainstream similarity would maybe be keto, but from what I understand about keto versus what most companies market and so many popular keto products look like, I'm not quite sure some of those people are taking it seriously enough to care.
Thank you for the info, that's a real shame to hear.
Cookies and cream is one of those flavors that I'm always looking out for because it's so hard to nail down. My guess is because you might have people expecting totally different things off the name, be it a fully fledged oreo flavor or a cookies and cream ice cream that emphasizes that vanilla ice cream side.
Speaking for myself, I'm on the lookout for the former because vanilla ice cream is already covered by so many proteins.
As an aside, I fairly recently tried the Nutrex Isomix vanilla bean ice cream and it serves that point, knocking it out of the park when it comes to tasting like rich, vanilla bean ice cream out of the carton.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
