Haven’t seen him on here in ages. I think he left with the great mod/admin purge a couple of years ago.
In other news Mega Pre tastes so bad it almost makes me throw up. And even if I chug it down, it seems to make me nauseous an hour or 2 later. Total bunk. I may trash this crap.
Finally over 2yrs and well expired later I opened up Iso-Smooth Caramel Macchiato. Holy fuk that tastes delicious.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

I've never used that Mega Pre Black but from the feedback I've seen on flavoring I presume they DIDN'T use
tasteless Teacrine.I just did a review on IG for ProSupps Mr Hyde ICON and they also didn't use a tasteless
Teacrine so it's very bitter but for me drinkable with 24oz of water. On the protein you mentioned that just
goes to show past the expiration date doesn't mean it isn't still good. That's why I never mind grabbing
supplements close dated at 1/2 the price or even less.

I was glad this container was still good. I didn’t exercise much during covid (pretty much almost all of 2020 and part of 2021) so I had several proteins, pwo etc that were well past. The proteins were mostly Blue Star. I had to throw out 2 containers that became rancid but the others are still fresh tasting.
Even with having a home gym now it’s been hard to stay motivated like I used to. So I need a good tasting and working pwo. And without all of the exotic’s. I just don’t want those anymore. I was hoping Mega Pre Black was that but nope. I also have some Ape**** Cutz I’ll open and try and even Promera Pre that’s okay at best, drinkable but mediocre energy and focus.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

I still like exotics but ONLY occasionally that's why I store them in the freezer since I use them so sparingly.
Yesterday I went with 1 scoop of Reign and 1 scoop of Conquer Unleashed and YES their both classics from
OL and past the expiration date but they still work BEAUTIFULLY ! I pick up a lot of non exotics on clearance
and just add certain focus ingredients or pump ingredients as needed. Purus Labs new release of Noxygen looks
pretty good for pumps, energy, and decent focus. I've seen a review on it on You Tube and feedback has been
positive so Purus might have a good one with no crazy stimulants and no Y is some are sensitive to it.

I feel you with the hard to stay motivation aspect. Especially with the shut down in 2020. To keep me accountable, I hired a coach 1.5 years ago and decided it's time to compete before some big life changing events coming up over the next few years. A supportive coach and gf help keep the motivation there.
I wasn't a big fan of either Mega Pre. They tasted good from what I remember, but I felt I really didn't get much from it for training.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Anyone know any protein powders with a decent profile that arent priced for Supercar owners?
Also just went on misc for the first time and two years and it is even more cringe than before. Heavy incel vibes.“Uh, Later Dudes. S you in your A’s, don’t wear a C, and J all over your B’s.”

Considering the flavoring is really good and it being a blend PES is hard to beat for the price, Quest is reasonably priced as well and the Cinnamon is really good but if you're good with straight whey then BB.com signature just came out with new interesting flavor choices

Spitfire Labs Abomination preworkout is BOGO if you loo around, solid profile, been enjoying it myself for a non-exotic. Taste is a bit meh, but that's mostly due to the black pepper extract.

Gotta love the inflated prices of protein these days *roll eyes*
Depends what you're looking for. I can only handle whey isolate now. Regular whey or slower digesting protein's don't sit well for me. That will change the price range a bit. I typically find a good tasting whey isolate for around $35-40 per tub. Shipping is typically free where I buy. If you want more info, PM me.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Thanks for all the suggestions. I decided to finish my degree finally and need to budget due to less work hours. Seeing some of the prices for stuff I used to buy is crazy right now. A lot of the $40 ones would be like $25 just 5 years ago.

Totally agree protein prices are ridiculously HIGH and I'm glad I snagged up a few lbs when there were
some decent deals I just grabbed two 5lb tubs of the signature whey in Mocha and Oatmeal Cookie flavor
using the $10off code and a $10 gift card I had brought the price down to $35 a tub which isn't the greatest
deal cause I was paying $25 for 4-5lb tubs about 6 months ago. I honestly don't think prices are gonna go
back down again and some brands might end up doing away with the 5lb tubs cause they are trying to sell
them now at $80-$100 a tub

That’s awesome you stayed on track and may potentially compete. I hope you get to.
For me it’s definitely not my thing to go that far. For many years it was wanting that body, that muscle that meant others looked up to and it was easy to land women. Now, I’ve been married 15yrs so it’s about staying lean, keeping muscle tone and hormones high so I age well.

Aging sucks dude. I don't want to lose that "umph" for life as I age, ya know? I fear losing motivation to train as my body slows me down and I have to adjust from legit strength training to something else. For me, I just love getting under a heavy bar. Makes proper periodization critical if the aim is being able to do it for a long time.
For what it's worth, I always tell younger guys to forget about abs. There's a small window of opportunity for mass and it get's smaller and smaller w every passing year. I think guys should stop worrying about 6 packs that girls don't even care about and try to put on some real mass while their bodies are responsive.Squat and Deadlift

It's easy right now for me, but I know I cannot show the same commitment to the gym when life gets more real. Working remote and having a girlfriend that enjoys the gym is nice and she's very supportive of doing a show before our life gets more crazy with getting engaged, wedding, moving, kids, changing careers, etc. I'll be more career driven soon enough and won't be able to be as selfish with my gym time and eating habits. Just that natural progression of things.
When it comes to responsibilities and priorities, family and work will come first. I'm guessing I'll be spending a lot less money on supplements when those days come lol. I've actually cut down a bit already with only buying usually during sales, so that helps a lot.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Wasted years trying to stay lean and gain mass, wheel spinning for close to a decade really. Ah well, live and learn.
Yeah, all of 2020 and a lot of 2021 was spent at work so lost a lot of progress, found a better balance now, though still working 56-96 hours/week which can be hard. In the end though, gotta make that money while I can.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Man, that's a lot of work. I've gotten so comfortable working 40-45 hours a week which is nothing. I did the two job hustle for many years doing 60-70 hours a week and I really just wasn't enjoying life. But I get pushing that hard for a time to really earn money to set you up for the future. Good work man!

I've been weight training for 41yrs and honestly I've had a 6 pack since I was 15 and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I know it's a tougher time putting on real mass when you try keeping your abs in shape and I tried putting on more
size many years ago and I just didn't like what my abs were starting to look like and once I let go of the extra mass
I actually looked BIGGER! I then realized I didn't need that extra mass and keeping my 6 pack made me look and feel
better and to this day at 54yrs old my 6 pack still keeps me looking an feeling at least 15yrs younger.

That 56-96hrs is a lot and I would of probably been doing those hrs also had I taken the Corrections job I
was up for 24yrs ago but instead I stood in retail. This past year 2021 my co. had us working 30hr weeks down
from 38hrs and it turned out to be the BEST$$$ I made in the 23yrs I've been with them. Covid forced them to
reduce the GROSSLY overstaffed sales floor to what it should be and I was able to really do my thing which is
SELL!

Eh good on you man, never mind me. I used to rock a 6 pack but I really had to micro manage my diet to maintain it, and ultimately decided it was more enjoyable to eat, drink, and lift heavy.
You got 18 years on me, and I think you should do whatever makes you feel good. That's what matters most in this game at the end of the day, and especially as we age. So, never mind my personal commentary lmaoSquat and Deadlift
