I've never tried anything from Primeval Labs but from the feedback I've seen the new tubs of Ape Sh#t
with the big pic of the ape on the front DON'T have the same focus feel as the old tubs cause they dropped
one of the focus ingredients from it. I've been seeing their Mega Pre Black on sale lately for $17.50 a tub
lately and that was supposed to be their better PW but it's dropped in price considerably so that might be
getting reformulated or they just have a BAD batch that their trying to get rid of

I picked this up for $14.99 a tub and if you look at the ingredients and profile it's a very good profile
and at 2 scoops you get 22 servings BUT it gets bad feedback because of the flavor. The choc which
is the flavor of the 2 tubs that I have is more of a DARK type choc which isn't sweet but it doesn't
taste bad but I guess people who bought this flavor wanted more of a sweet milk choc type taste.
I personally like dark choc better that is not too sweet but more flavorful so I don't mind the flavor.
I've been using 1 scoop and combining with 1 scoop of another protein flavor and that has worked out
VERY WELL! This choc combines well with flavored proteins such as banana, strawberry, mocha, caramel,
choc mint, and other choc flavored protein. For this price tag and that ingredient profile I definitely
recommend it and you'll get 44 servings per tub using it at 1 scoop like I have been doing but again
you have to like dark not too sweet choc flavor to appreciate it and $14.99 is the price I HUNTED

I miss taking all the questionable pre workouts, nothing beats those feels. Stupid work drug tests ruining all the fun.
Also snagged the Pure Protein RTD cans in Vanilla Cream for $11 for a case of 12, figured for that price I'd give it a shot, not bad. Would never pay more than $11 for the case but flavor is OK and 35g of protein, 2g of carbs, 1g fat, all in 160 calories is decent. Likely not the best protein source but easy to throw in my lunch for work.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

He just posted feedback on the new red tubs cause he got a lot of people asking him about it
and though he's not a fan of the effects he tested the new red tub and he said it was exactly
like the old tubs..

Didn't order from there but did sort of watch the video. Too hard to follow some of these reviewers as they are all over the place and a bit over the top. Anyway just got a tub in but not sure if I want to use after hearing mixed opinions and the talk of who knows what ingredients. I guess if I have used Double Impact a few times why not?

Not being a big fan of mix-ins, I did an experiment earlier with some Ghost Whey Nutter Butter where I ran scoops through a sifter and removed most of the cookie bits, then separated the "pure" protein into a separate container.
The first thing I noticed when comparing them is that the protein-only mix smells better. I've been really ambivalent about this flavor because every time I open the tub, there is some kind of lingering after-scent that was immediately absent with the cookie bits removed.
As for the flavor, well, I don't eat junk food and it has probably been close to two decades since I've eaten anything from Nabsico and I can't even remember if I've ever actually eaten a Nutter Butter in my entire life it's been so long. That out of the way, I greatly preferred it, probably in part due to the smell factor also being markedly improved. Overall, I found myself enjoying it fully for the first time with nothing hindering the taste.
I've tried the same procedure with the Ghost Whey Chips Ahoy! flavor with similar results.
The main difference is that I've never found that flavor to have any sort of strange scent, in fact, I quite like it overall. However, I have again felt that the actual taste has been greatly improved for me. I always wound up with an aftertaste that downgraded the taste to something far more mediocre. Removing the cookie bits really helped to smooth out the flavor of the protein.
While a lot of this is of course subjective, especially because most people haven't abstained from sugary foods long enough to really notice a difference, this really stood out to me and has me both impressed and a little disappointed.
To elaborate, Ghost's protein powder is flavored very well all on its own, which I'd say tracks as a huge fan of their peanut butter cereal protein flavor in particular. They pull off very authentic peanut butter sandwich cookie and chocolate chip cookie flavors all on their own.
At the same time, it's disappointing that they already have a stellar foundation that they adulterate with cheap/chitty ingredients. While they manage to balance a surprisingly impressive overall nutritional profile (3.855 calories per gram, 26g of protein, 1 g fat and fiber, 3g sugar, 2g added sugar, in a 41.5g serving), it would be even better without (I feel) not sacrificing flavor because they already did a good job in the first place! And unlike Ghost's protein, Nabisco's cookies all have rubbish ingredients, and frankly, you could buy a whole family size for less than four bucks if you were so inclined compared to a forty dollar tub of protein. You wouldn't order a sirloin steak and then dab crisco on it, and as small potatoes as it is, the fact that their protein does taste so good (in my opinion better) without the add ins makes me just shake my head a bit.
But! At least sifting is perfectly viable, easy, and quick for anyone else who happens to not like the actual cookie mix in taste, which was the point of this little experiment.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

Exp is 12/21 so I don't see any issues and don't forget it's NOT sweet but it's fantastic when you do
1 scoop and combine it with a scoop of another flavor though I've had it at 2 scoops and I was fine
with the taste but I personally don't like overly sweet taste when I'm drinking but I do when I use a
protein for proats cause the sweeter flavor tend to flavor the oats better.

I had to do a double take, but the two scoop serving is only 350mg; the one scoop is 175mg.
I hate when pre-workouts do that because like hell is one scoop a serving. It's like the "two cookies per serving" of pre-workouts.
Best example I've seen recently is Raw Nutrition Raw Pre:
100mg for 2 scoops.
The only thing that confused me more was seeing the same website covering the same brand with one of the most hyperbolic headlines, Strongest Fat Burner EVER? RAW Nutrition’s IGNITE Breaks the Mold.
Spoiler!
Exaggerations aside, something I hate to say, but Priceplow tends to do with some brands, I couldn't help flip back and forth between labels trying to understand who this company's even aiming for.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

Choc,Van,and C&C are NOT their strong flavors so I usually don't order those. When I do the straight
casein then I do choc and van cause I usually mix 1 scoop with a another flavor. When I buy the Impact
Whey I go for the more unique flavors which I think they do better than the basics such as French Toast,
Snicker Doodle, Smore's, Salted Caramel, Mocha, and some of their other unique flavors and usually 8oz
of water still has a strong flavor taste.
