The first official COVID case in America was reported on Jan 20th, so even 3640 fatalities is still significantly less than the middle ground estimate for flu deaths in the 2018/2019 season (8,500 deaths per month).




Oh come on now you can't give the preliminary CFR for COVID and compare it to the final CFR for the flu. That's just disingenuous.

You have to multiply the confirmed cases by at least 5-10 and then you'll get a similar CFR to the flu.

Fauci and colleagues have already stated as much:

"If one assumes that the number of asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic cases is several times as high as the number of reported cases, the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%. This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively."

It doesn't state anywhere in the article that those 12% that died as a direct cause of COVID didn't have any premorbidities (if that were the case -- so many healthy people dying -- the fearmongering MSM would be all over that like looksmaximus on chit-stained panties). And considering that over 99% of deaths in Italy had premorbidities, the numbers add up (12% died due to corona, 88% died due to premorbidities).

This is something I'm really interested to see play out, because at least in my own circle of friends, I think it's going to be the opposite. Most of my girlfriends are sleeping in separate rooms from their partners due to one partner working on the front lines and the other half (myself included) would rather eat glass than go anywhere near a hospital right now, not to mention how volatile most people's jobs and subsequently their health care coverage is.

Having worked along side nurses and doctors I greatly appreciate all medical personnel efforts in dealing with this pandemic, I understand what they're going through, they are overworked, understaffed, and for the time being lack supplies, HOWEVER this video shows a female nurse breaking down after working her FIRST DAY in an ICU with only TWO COVID-19 patients.......
