the doctor in the video says that he doesn't prescribe the cocktail to everyone, especially if the patients are under 60, and experience only the mild symptoms. the key is to catch and treat it if there are respiratory symptoms early, before the patients develop pneumonia, because then it's a completely different story, and the cocktail won't be as affective.Originally Posted by R3L3NTL3SS

Some side effects can be worse in the setting of different diseases. Hydroxychloroquine is associated with an increased risk of arrhythmia. COVID-19 is associated with arrhythmia more than other viral diseases. Their daily deaths have pretty much plateau'd. High. Like around 750 a day for over a week now. Way back when people thought they might peak and come down back on the 18th when they were <500 a day. Taking into account estimated actual infection numbers rather than using confirmed cases, which is mostly meaningless, and we get an overall death rate of 0.66%

I wonder, due to the lower amount of miles driven, less spread of things like the Flu, less activity at dangerous jobs, and probably a decent number of people who will quit smoking during this whole thing, are we actually safer than before? I emailed my doctor about the drug trifecta of hydroxycholoroquine/zpack/and zinc
He said he is prescribing it to patients that are showing covid symptoms (although my county only reports 11 total positives)
He also notes to take the zinc 2 hours after the other 2 drugs
