    Do you skip calves?

    To tired at the end of leg day? Don't want to set up a bunch of weights just for calves? Do you skip 'em? Will you admit you skip 'em?

    My calves get all the work they need from squats. Direct calf training is pointless for most people.

    If you look at your calves you can prob tell if you can get away with skipping them. Some people have naturally bigger calves or respond well to indirect work, some don't.

    If you need to do calf work, depending on your routine, you likely can add it at the end of a non-leg day or a rest/cardio/core day.

    I probably say I hit calves more often then not. Mainly beause I stick to what the program states and most ones I do have direct calve work.

    Forearm and shrugs are a different game though. Never for the first and best attempt on the latter.

    Jumping rope is my calf training. i guess I take after my uncle in that way.

    I do a ton of rebounder jumping and plyometric jumping and my calves are beautiful.
    It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

    It's easy to not be afraid of tigers when you're sitting in your living room watching a television program about tigers. When you're in the jungle where the tigers are, it's quite a different story.

    my calves aren't the best but they aren't dyel either, around 16 inches in size so at least they are slightly bigger than my fully pumped biceps.

    just never cared for em, doesn't really contribute to any of goals and probably just get enough work from the daily grind of life and other exercises. so pretty much a waste of time for me.

    I do them every workout. I only workout 3-4 times a week though. Would like to get them a bit bigger and defined.
