    Training twice a day

    What do you think about training twice per day? I’m thinking of doing it from now till around May. Would be eating more

    My split would be:

    MOnday
    AM: chest/Tri. Chest 4 exercises 3 sets
    Tri 2 exercises 3 sets

    Pm: back/Bi. Back 4 exercises 3 sets
    Bi 2 exercises 3 sets

    Tuesday- am: legs 5 exercises 3sets
    Pm: shoulders 6 exercises 3sets

    Wednesday- am;chest/Tri
    Pm: back Bi

    Thursday- am: legs
    Pm: shoulders

    Friday- am: Bi’s/Tri’s
    3 exercises 3 sets each

    You cant recover that fast. Has nothing to do with how much you eat. You;ll get injured and weak. If you want to lift 6 days a week do PPL.

    Taking your daily workout and splitting it into two segments doesn't really accomplish much. I added up the volume you are doing each day, and it looks like too much. Ask yourself this, if you took and am and pm workout and combined them into one workout, is it too much? How long would it take? 90 minutes? That's too long. If you want to workout 5x a week like you currently are doing, there is a sticky somewhere for a PPL U/L program and that program is balanced. You may not like that fact that you are doing someone elses routine that they created, but you'll get better results than what you are doing.
