I'm not one to put a lot of importance in how much money people spend on weddings/wedding rings. Having said that, obviously lying about what he got her was a dbag move. However, I think it's kind of laughable that something like this would be considered big news to people with zero involvement in the situation. Far worse crap happens in the world than some random guy lying about how much money he spent on a ring to his girlfriend.
