Why do men always need to talk to women first?

I’ve noticed that women will not talk to you first thing no matter how good looking you are unless you speak to them first. No matter if it’s being friendly to lead into a friendship let alone dating.

A coworker of mine mentioned to me that a lot a lot of women are his friends at a place we work at which is why they talk to him and not to me but I also made it known that he actually spoke to them first to which he acknowledged.

When did this become a thing or has it always been a thing?

I mean I've had some women talk to me first and others I had to strike up the first conversation. It depends on the woman and if she's attracted to you or not though sometimes just because a woman strikes up a conversation doesn't mean she finds you attractive.

We’re talking pretty subtle actions here, none of which are direct. I used to be really bad at noticing it myself but now I see it all the time. A signal is prolonged eye contact, glances, smiling, simply noticing your presence, and stuff like that. No woman is going to walk up to you and say “lemme suck your dick” unless she’s 6 vodka sours deep in a bar.

Just today I was teasing this girl at work that I’ve had some tension with. She stares into my eyes when she’s talking to me like she’s looking into my soul. It’s kinda funny and impossible not to notice. She laughs at mundane **** that I say and responds to my teasing in a way that’s almost overreactive (goofy laughing, etc). Too bad she’s a co-worker, she has huge tits and is cute as hell. I could probably take her in a back office and shoot onto her face if I just asked, but I don’t mess with work chicks.

Point being this stuff can be hard to spot without some experience but a general rule of thumb is that if she’s responding to you positively and not because she’s required to, there’s a good chance she’s into you to some degree.

most though you need to at least introduce yourself then they will come up and talk to you later after you broke the ice.
others just stand in the open alone hoping you will notice them (full retardation far as i'm concerned)
then you get the one's who seem to teleport 2" from you out of know where and say "oh, hai, I was trying to call my friend" or "hey do you know where I can get a drink at this free outdoor concert?" when you can literally look anywhere and see a beer/drink stand.

so, either I am chad (i'm not) or dudes who never get approached are either fat/ugly (usually not) or extremely awkward and stiff looking when out (majority).
