Zappa never labeled himself as "Rock and Roll" but he did write rock, and he wrote it more complex than most. He showed Hendrix how to use a "crybaby" and he invented what most rockers did.

THis is all in C#Miner and it easy to improvise pentatonic scales, but very few could sit down and get this note for note.
I've heard Zappa play that 5-6X each time the solo is completely different, its a form of heavy/bluesy ROCK.
