Same. I figured Fury would have it easily if he just stuck with the basics and stayed away from dropping the hands and dodging on the ropes like he does so often lol
I think he learned his lesson to not risk that against Wilders power. He fought this fight completely differently than the first one imo.

Wow I was completely wrong... Fury broke wilder's ear drum and then dominated. Big respect to wilder for fighting that long with a burst ear drum, his balance was gone from the first knockdown. Big respect to fury for having the balls and the brains to trade with the biggest puncher ever and dominate him.
As others have said both are a step up from joshua.*Only misc at work crew*

not a fan of wilders boxing style but he seems like a good dude and hats off to him for staying in the round through 7.
by round 2 he already looked like he was completely gassed and then the hit to the ear completely change everything. I would still really love for him to develop a jab. he’s 34 but it’s a shame than he never did. with a solid jab it would change everything.

After rewatching it again.
Wilder needs to fire everyone but that assistant trainer that threw in the towel.
He was done after the 3rd round when ear drum blew and started bleeding.
Balance was gone and he just took so many shots for no reason.
Fury is hell of boxer. Always was.
He won the first fight.
Question now.
Will anyone want to even fight him.
Joshua would be mega fight.
Joshua can actually box unlike Wilder zero technique just loading and waiting for that right hand fluke.
Fury reach and that jab to setup the shots would be trouble for Joshua.

Amazing performance by Fury. He took away Wilder's one weapon and once he'd done that, it was only ever going to go one way.
Fury said he'd go for the KO and he was a man of his word, pressing forward like that ensured Wilder couldn't set his feet to throw his right hand like he usually does. Of course Fury couldn't press forward all the time but when Wilder did attack he simply extended the lead left and used it like a pole to keep Wilder from cutting the distance and landing the right hand cleanly. Against a fighter than slips the jab or ducks under it, this would of been less effective but because Wilder does none of that there was no way he could get past the extended left hand and jump on Fury with the right hand. When Wilder did land it, it was only ever a glancing shot.Bench -216lbs

Agreed. That was too one-sided. Wilder has 30 days to decide if he wants another smash. Time for Joshua. Joshua can box, but I think Fury will shut him down.
Maybe Joshua and Wilder, then Fury vs the winner? Not sure if that's good because Fury was unscathed and wants some action.Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

Thinking about it, how could you legit beat a guy like Tyson Fury? From any era? He's tall as chit, big as chit, fast, powerful, athletic as hell, more athletic than most guys smaller than him. How do you beat a guy with every physical advantage? I don't even think Tyson, Ali eras can beat this guy. Even if you can outbox him, most-likely he's bigger than you, and only has to impose his will as such. You got to catch him slippin', honestly.
