I have never gone to the gym a day in my life. I have quiet abit of fat. I want to start working out and look good. But right now my hips seem to protrude abit and i have a dip between ribs and pelvis. Is it just bad genetics or my fat and what can i do about it?

Don't expect anything and you won't be disappointed. Train hard, eat right and you'll get what you get. Once your body starts taking shape you start putting more effort into your weak points and less into your strong points. This is exactly backwards of what most people do.
If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough
