Can you get ripped on dumbells alone?

I have a set of dumbells at my house that I use. Can you get ripped on that alone? And how heavy should they be?

No as getting ripped is about diet. Can you build the muscle first of course providing you have a range of weights.

But get ripped no amount of training will do that if you aren't low enough body fat.

If you were to buy one piece of equipment, it would be an adjustable bench. You can do bench press, incline bench and overhead presses with it. One handed rows, preacher curls, tricep extensions are a few others. I know these are all upper body exercises, but you also need to work your legs.

There's Fierce 5 dumbbell only routine. I'm kicking myself as to why I waited to buy a power rack before getting started.
