    WWE's Ruthless Aggression Show

Will they be discussing Chris Benoit? Benoit was a major player during this era. Or will they just gloss over him?

Watched all 5 episodes. Overall, great network show. Pretty well produced and put together with all the clips and interviews.
I am a huge fan of the ruthless aggression era, it is the era I grew up watching and have a big nostalgic tie to it.

    Episode 1:
-Was about the end of the attitude era
-Buying WCW, Invasion angle and how 2001-2002ish got off the a bumpy start due to the main WCW guys not coming over right away
-Rock & Austin going on the way out
-One of the main takeaways is how WWE really needed fresh stars coming out of the Attitude Era
-Pretty much they had to buy time between the WCW buyout and waiting for the next wave of stars to breakout
-Good episode to set the scene for the tone and feel after the attitude era/start of ruthless aggression era.

    Episode 2:
-All about John Cena and how he started in OVW as the prototype
-He viewed his initial "ruthless aggression" persona got handed a golden opportunity but he failed until he got the Dr. of Thuganomics character as after his debut working with Kurt Angle he fell quickly onto Velocity in low card matches.
-Goes through how he rose up with the rap character while free-styling on the bus while Stephanie McMahon hears him
-Facing Big Show at WM20, how Big Show says that others wrestlers told him not to put over Cena cause he was disrespectful to the business (due to not being traditional)
-Facing JBL at WM21, how Cena vs JBL's characters worked well against each other, how JBL tells Vince that Cena is legit after working with him
-Introducing the new WWE spinner belt for Cena
-Going to RAW and having the crowd divided/split for him facing HHH going into WM22, how it was easy to work with JBL earlier as he was easily hated as a heel while Triple H was viewed as the cool heel to root for against the new guy
-Shows how he had to work a crazy schedule etc. and how he played a big part in getting WreslteMania PPV's back into stadiums after years of only being held in arenas
-Touches a bit on Cena's rise with mainstream stuff like talks shows, The Marine, rap album etc. as well
-Great episode that shows how Cena wasn't the hand picked golden boy that most think

    Episode 3:
    -About Evolution
-Starts off about how Ric Flair was in a slump after coming back to WWE, only being an on screen character etc. not really feeling like his old self
-Shows how Triple H was the champion and on top and created the idea of Evolution to Vince
-Goes through how Orton and Batista were hand picked to be the next rising stars
-Talks bout the heat Randy and Batista had with some of the locker room due to being hand picked by HHH
-Bubba Ray Dudley injured both Orton and Batista in the same night causing a disruption in the plans for Evolution
-Goes through how Orton had his Randy News Network gimmick (which no one really remembers or talks about now)
-Then while Orton was back but Batista was still recovering, it goes through how Mark Jindrak was Dave's "replacement"
-Funny stuff how HHH just buries Jindrak throughout this episode, he pretty much didn't like Jindrak despite Orton coming off as more childish than him.
-Funny bit when HHH recalls that Orton and Jindrak were playing with an animal see and say toy in a car ride
-Then it goes through how Orton becomes the youngest world heavyweight champion in WWE and how he really wasn't mature enough to handle it all
-Then goes through Batista vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 21 while Orton gets tested at WM21 by The Undertaker with a key match on the card
-I think this was the most interesting episode overall

    Episode 4:
-About the next big thing Brock Lesnar
    -Goes through Lesnar in OVW
-How he was "ahead" of Cena, Orton and Batista (both in terms of not only timing but overall how he was viewed by higher ups)
-Goes through his King of the ring situation with Stone Cold
-How he quickly rises to the top of the card
    -Beating Hollywood Hogan on SmackDown
-Winning the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2002 against Rock
-How he didn't like the wrestling lifestyle and trravel
-Buys a private plane for easier travel
-WrestleMania 19 main event vs. Kurt Angle and the shooting star press injury
    -WreslteMania 20 vs. Goldberg situation
-Going to the NFL and UFC and back to WWE in 2012
-Touches on taker and WM streak broken/being dominate in current WWE
-Good episode overall, about The Beast!

    Episode 5:
-Focuses on the RAW/SmackDown brand extension
-Early on goes through about the reasons for splitting the roster
-How Heyman ran SD early on and Brian Gewirtz ran RAW
-How Vince viewed RAW as the A show and SD as the B show
-SmackDown at varying times having better TV ratings and house show ticket sales than RAW
-Backstage battle/competiton between the two rosters about the better show
-Goes through how the brand split allowed chances for superstars
-Goes through Eddie Guerrero's rise and WWE Championship reign
-Bradshaw to JBL character change and his WWE Championship reign
    -Cena's rise touched on again
-Cena to RAW draft pick and Batista to SmackDown draft pick
-Quickly goes through how Edge and Rey Mysterio got chances with world title spots and how Booker T got more chances with King Booker character.
-Overall, good episode highlighting how the brand extension helped create more stars.

Good series, they will release more episodes later in the year about the ruthless aggression era. So far from the preview it looks to focus on the Elimination chamber match creation in 2002, Divas search (they'll spin this to be some PC stuff about womens revolution), more about OVW after their main guys left and it looks to focus in MNM and the Miz. They should have an episode about WWE's ECW and WreslteMania 23's Battle of the Billionaires (which is one of the biggest events of the rutless aggression era and wrestling in general).
