It's funny how people talk about some guy and say he's been training for 25 years, as if that matters. If you can't hit your goal in 3 years you're either being unrealistic, or you're not training properly. The guy is clearly on tech, and this Jessy guy is clearly not.

Personally, I went from 270lbs, at 30% BF at age 14 with 14" arms, to 210 at 12% by age 18, with 18" arms. I stopped growing at 12 too, so it wasn't puberty.

I hate how the fitness industry is full with fake natties giving out advice and selling chit to natties. I particularly dislike Jeff Cavaliere because he always has a "better" version of an exercise and makes it seem like it's because of these tiny tweaks that he's huge and shredded.

    just lol

Jesse’s physique has improved quite a bit since he began training. The fact that he’s not jacked and shredded after 2 years of training with him is actually evidence that he’s not “riding bicycles” in his gym.

No one going to point out the two most obvious factors?

He clearly doesn't eat in a surplus religiously, which is probably the BIGGEST growth contributor in your first year - two.

Nature is a bell curve. Funny how stong the wave is to call guys fake natties. I just found this out in another thread.

True story, I put on 50lbs in 3 years from 18 to 21. 5'9 and from 140 to 190 and still in the 10% range.

Totally natty and yes....I have pics.

Now I am 47 and have 20+ years of training. Last few have been non-natty. The guys who say a lifetime of training does not make a difference as silly. I have not managed to move the scale all that much from when I was 21 but the quality and density of my physique has certainly improved over the last 26 years.

TBH with higher doses certain side effects become common. I don't really think Jeff Cavalier is on a high dose if he's on TRT at all.
It's not super human but it's still a huge advantage. brb still high optimal T even when you get really lean, chitty diet or bad sleeps.

Not really. There is so much misinformation about this. Test is not as big a player as you think (within natural ranges). There are other hormones that drive growth more than test. Since nature is a bell curve, we all fall naturally into a range of levels. Higher test levels (naturally) dont necessarily correlate to higher muscle masses.

I have seen many guys, even older 40+ post up levels of 1100+ and yet they look like a pre-pubescent teenager who barely weighs 140lbs soaking wet.

A great anecdotal example is this place was filled at one time with testboosters that really did work. Many based on herbal anti-e's. They would jack people natural production up to 1100 even 1200 in some cases. Many many people posted blood work and people thought they hit the growth gold mine.

Yet despite 100's if not 1000's of cases of top of the scale levels, guys never really saw any accompanied growth along with their boosted levels. Anyone that was around during those days should remember quite well. The end result came to be understood that, yes....testboosters do work. But simply boosting levels within natural ranges did not show much if any impact.

Again I have been around a while. I have seen natural bb'rs who after a decade of competing discovered their levels were only 400. Some older guys even opted to go on trt. Following up, no real gains. Our bodies only need so much test (within the natural range) to work for us. Once you have hit that mark, more, does not necessarily equate to more muscle growth.

NOW....before anyone starts spouting off.... Taking your levels well beyond 'normal' ranges, to levels 4 and 5 times the natural range.....yes, obviously differences appear.

I had low-t. Not just kinda low...but BELOW the bottom of the scale low. (connected with a head injury I suffered). I had no trouble gaining muscle mass or strength. Sex was not an issue, but I did suffer from crushing fatigue.

I dont want to clog this thread up since I posted another with similar stuff here:https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...1&p=1597819381

This thread is not about me and not trying to make it about me. But the amount of misinformation around here is terrible. Natural guys can and do get big (ish) Here is a pic end of my first year back training Not only natural, but actually had full blown LOW-T at the time and did not figure it out till a few years later.

16+lbs lean mass in one year. 5'9 195 lean. And lifettime natty. ( I am no longer a natty so it is not as if I have a reason to lie) Gains like this also had a lot to do with muscle memory. I share a lot more info in the thread I linked if you are interested, but long story short,....this place is WAY too quick to call out any gains, even modest ones, as most likely non-natural. Pretty sad really.
