I personally eat eggs everyday, and it’s one of my favorite foods. I like them poached, but I find that I end up loosing a lot of the egg white in the water. I also don’t mind eating them raw, but I recently found out you loose some of the protein if you don’t cook them. I think my top favorite way of making eggs is a mix of soft/hard boiled. I leave them in the water for about 7 or 8 minutes, and it gets a perfect combo of the white being soft and chewy, and the yolk being hard on the outside but a little runny in the middle.

I used to eat them raw, mixed in with milk, oats, strawberry yoghurt and banana. In the UK hens are vacinated against salmonela so the risk of that is pretty low. Anyway, I don't do that any longer.
Like you, I find I lose some of the egg when I poach them. I also poach them in the microwave, and on a couple of occassions there has been an explosion which has left me with no egg and a very dirty microwave. You've heard the expression "Egg on your face", well this is a case of "Egg on your microwave".
I also have these non-stick pans where you don't have to use any oil, so I usually fry them both sides, or sramble them. When I make scrambled egg I don't add butter, milk and all that malarky, I just crack them into the pan and pix them about along with plenty of pepper.
If I have gammon then I'll have both an egg and a slice of pineapple on top, because I'm greedy like that.
The other day I microwaved some brown rice, then scrambled up 4 eggs and mixed it altogether. It was delicious.

Man, I love eggs.
I usually just buy a carton and boil them all immediately. Not because I like boiled eggs specifically, but it makes eating them convenient. I love them in almost anything I've ever thrown them in, so if I ever want some with the current meal I'm having, I just take a couple, crack and boom.
But honestly, you cook me an egg any kind of way you want, I'll eat it and enjoy it.Life is constant learning. Give advice about things you know. Ask questions about things you don't.
