How tall are you?
Do you prefer the look of one of the categories over another?
There's nothing wrong with assessing your physique and seeing what category you fit best in. But for me, to be passionate about competing and everything that goes into it, I needed to be working toward a specific look.
I wanted to look like the girls that competed in physique. So I made that my goal - it was going to be WPD or nothing for me - that gave me a specific goal that I constantly work for.
How are you doing in Figure? What feedback do you get? I'm still watching the wellness to see how it plays out in judging. I have a friend who is changing over to that category.2020 Olympia Bound | NPC WPD Nationally Qualified | 2018 Arnold Amateur WPD Top 3 | 2x WPD Pro World Champion (INBA/DFAC)

OP I think you should try Physique once and see how you like it. Several shows let you enter both Figure and Physique.
Also as ProYeo said, how do you feel you stack up against other Figure competitors? Are you usually the biggest girl on stage? How do you feel about getting as lean as you need to be for Physique?
I have seen some massive Figure girls these days, so the line of how big is too big is never entirely clear to me. I think at the end of the day you should go by what you like best.Follow my 2018 competition prep here:
