I like it, I'm more of a sedan guy myself, own a 2017 XTS and it's sweet, but looking at a new rig for my wife. The beauty of American luxury is the depreciation it takes after 1 year. Never buy them new.

I just can't see ever spending 80/100k on a SUV that shares a platform with Chevy Suburban.

Yeah, seems like GM is run by idiots these days. They have a ton of power plants but like to limit what motors they put into cars. Most other brands you at least get one option but GM loves cramming that V6 down your throat.


The 2021 Escalade should have had the Blackwing motor in it for the price their asking.

love the Escalade but after being in one i thought the leather would be a lot more plush than it is for what you pay for it

ive been in way cheaper cars ie jeep dodge chrysler that have nicer leather and more comfort

Would buy a Lexus/Land cruiser before touching that thing. Looks cool if you are a VIP and have someone driving you around.

Give it a few years you'll find them in the 30k range. I'm honestly shocked cadillac is still up and running.

I have that engine v6 305 HP on my XTS, it's great for that car. The problem is between healthcare and pensions, GM can't build what they need to compete.

Got my 2009 escalade, not sure if I would buy a new one. I picked this thing up for 5 grand cad and you can't beat it, I just wish the trucks came with a true 4wd system

But people complaining about sharing part i mean its not a bad thing at all, these trucks drive much better than you'd expect.

if i were going to spend big bucks on a full size suv i would probably get the LX570, then navigator, then the Denali, then the infinity QX80, then then the caddy. just my personal preference. if we are talking slightly smaller a Land rover product would be on the list as well.

The new one is all looks. Non intuitive, HORRIBLE tech. I mean horribly bad ****ing tech. It's embarrassing. They just put all that tech in there just to have it in the car and on paper. GM yet again with a "that'll do" attitude. I really like Escalades, but man what a crappy letdown.

I haven't rode in one - I'm sure they're nice. I did ride in a GX470 and holy chit those things are amazing. GX460 about 2 years old will probably be my next car. Can't feel any bumps in the road, floaty as phuk, most comfortable vehicle I've ever sat in. Plus similar to a 4runner for offroad capabilities and towing. Honestly not sure why anyone would buy a 4runner when you can get the 460 for about the same price but not feel like you're riding in a plastic box.

I have a 2004 GX 470. Love it to death, when I upgrade it will be into a 460.
