There’s another good book that says why African Americans are the least successful (srs)

Legit completely the exact opposite of what was described in Op. the main ideas are the lack of a father figure and the black culture of getting married and having babies before graduating and settling down with career jobs is why they are the least successful race. There are a couple other good points.

If you look up the stats the achievement gap was closing between blacks and whites from the abolishment of slavery all the way up until the 70s. Several things changed in that decade but it was a clear that is when the gap started to widen again. The 2 big things that happened around that time were the end of segregation and changes to the way entitlement programs worked. I've heard arguments on why both of these things harmed the black community but personally I think that subsidizing single motherhood was the main cause

That's a very nice sentiment and I agree but you will get in serious trouble for showing tribal pride. A lot of people think blacks can get away with it which is true to a certain extent but if you go too far they will Malcolm X your azz.

My family on both sides came to the states relatively recently 1910s from present day Croatia on my mom's side and 1860s from Scotland on my dad's side. It's pretty neat that since they both came over recently I know the names of the people who actually made the trip and where they came from. My wife's family came over so long ago the genealogy gets murky. Her mother had a very Irish maiden name and they say that's where their from but her mother looks extremely Iberian

As I said before, I'm a minority with mix ancestry so IDGAF. Where it get's tricky is a "White only" thing day... If it's a Nordic culture week that's not a problem.

I have worked and continue to work with a lot of jewish people here in toronto (mostly clients).

I think a good amount of why they are on average very successful is because they stick to their tight knit community (i.e. they work with and help one another), as well as they really maintain traditional values and ethics and are very persistent in passing those along to the upcoming generations.

Both of those two key elements are missing in your average “white” american and canadian cultures (german/english/w.e).


I have a lot of respect and admiration for the jewish community. Great people.

The part about sticking together is so vital. A strong sense of community can make or break someone’s success. People dont understand how difficult it can be for those with potential to make it out of those communities.
People like to claim theyre self made but brb parents bought me a 7 year old car straight out of highschool.
Brb never had to pay my parents bills
Brb didnt grow up in a dog eat community where being broke and struggling was the reality.

Always admired how Jews go out and work foreveryone else - to the best of their ability mind you - then bring the money back to their community and build the same thing but better and Jew owned.

Community fixes all those problems when theres always an opportunity a cousin away

I don't know, I've never heard of them. I'm guessing because they don't share the same cultural values. Just like Muslims, Christians, Buddhist etc. Following the same religion doesn't mean you have the same values.

Rules we can all live by to help success. These rules are embedded into their culture and they are brought up this way. I'm close to someone with a lot of Jewish roots. They are good people to be good with, I'll say that. They are a bit hard to understand, but if you understand them, you get the big picture.

Culture is truly one of the most overrated aspects in financial success in the modern world. Jewish people are the most successful financially in the modern world because of nepotism. They hold key positions and plug in their friends and families while leaving others outside the power structure.

I respect Nigerians and Indians the most when it comes to financial success. These people come FROM NOTHING and don’t have an unfair advantage in the Western financial system yet they thrive.

They were the bankers to the kings for millennia, traded within their own communities, contributed to the Great Depression by using their wealth to buy back Israel instead of spending money in local economies. What the Jews have is multigenerational wealth which compounds harder than anyone can do in one lifetime.There’s a lot more. The modern financial and economic system/order is manmade, unnatural, inherently corrupt and harshly oppressive. It isn’t a real science. So it to function someone or a group of people HAS to be average, at the bottom of totem pole or economically oppressed.

Average people aren’t average because they aren’t following these “special laws” but rather these positions of power is limited. There can ONLY be a few bankers, doctors, lawyers, CEO and so on. You can be educated all you want and intelligent all you want, but if you aren’t being hired and have access to finance, than you will automatically be average.

I spoke to many young Western 16-30 men and women and of creed; they ALL understand economic and financial conservatism without knowing its economic names. Most people by nature are shrewd businessman but you can’t financially potent if you don’t want the money or employment.

Jewish economic success is one of the most overrated modern day success stories you can come across. Money begets money; those with financial advantage will always beat everyone else in this economic system.

The system is not corrupt and oppressive. Corruption and oppression leads to poverty for most people. Manmade? Yes, but if you don't like manmade live naked in the woods and eat berries. Of course it's "unatural and manmade". It's not that there only can be a few, but there are only a few because only a few have the ability and motivation to become bankers, doctors, lawyers, CEO's, ect. So what's stopping you from becoming a doctor, lawyer, or even opening your own business and being a CEO? Of course if your father was a banker, and taught you about being a banker, where you knew the business inside and out before you even got your first job, it would be a huge advantage because you know things that can't be taught in school. I'm sure being his son could help you with contacts and such, but that's limited because if you don't perform, you will be on your ass like anyone else.

I'm in the US, and you do not sound American at all. Maybe that is true where you are, I don't know. Here in the US, some of our biggest successes come from common roots. Probably we are the #1 destination of people who want to make something of themselves because here you can do it. When you said your respect Indians and Nigerians I thought you must be on drugs, but maybe not. Nigerians, I've never met one that wasn't a double talking scammer. They have their own set of rules and get upset if you don't follow them. For instance they will try to get you to contradict yourself by asking you the same thing several times in different ways. Then when they catch you they let you know and expect something or think they won. This is a waste of time and doesn't actually produce anything except letting you know not to do business with them. Indians often believe that you can negotiate even after the work has been done, if you won't, you aren't following their rules and they get upset. Naturally nobody wants to deal with them. So they might own a Shell gas station but they will never create anything huge like Sam Walton did when he made Walmart. When you said shrewd businessmen, really I don't get that. What makes them schrewd? It's business. It's matter of fact. Clean cut. Is or isn't. Do what's best for business? You say that as though it's a bad thing. Maybe that's why you are where you are?

They say they understand it, but do they? Even if you live by it and truely do understand it, doesn't mean you'll make it unless you've got it. It also depends on your motivation. For me, I don't want to run a business. However I'm a professional who takes a lot of pride in that I master my trade. I make a good living. I'm not rich by most standards but I have everything I want.Sure if I had millions in the bank I might make some purchaces but all in all it doesn't bother me.
