    Training to go Super Saiyan

Alright so I was posting a log in the losing fat thread but was told posting it here might get a little more attention. Currently running 5/3/1 boring but big and eating clean but not necessarily tracking. Breakfast is 4-5 egg whites and 1 whole egg with 2 slices of Ezekiel bread. Lunch today was half pound ground beef with half a diced onion and a big ass cucumber. I hate cucumber but it’s edible. Thought it was a zucchini when I pulled it out of the fridge but after I cut it up and I didn’t wanna waste it. Dinner is usually whatever the wife cooks but is generally a leaner meat, rice and veggies. Currently weighing 265 and want to get to 230 at least.

Only supplements I take daily is creatine, multi, d3 and zinc. On training days I take Hydraulic by Axe and Sledge and The Grind by Axe and Sledge. I’m also currently drinking a little over a gallon of water a day. Occasionally I’ll have a whey shake.

Going to Disney world next week and once I get back I’m wanting to attempt PSMF so I can really shed some fat. I’ve been fat for so many years I’m just tired of it. As you can tell by the title I’m a big Dragon Ball fan so I am training to look like a super saiyan. If I can hit a few personal goals I want to get a Majin Mark tattoo as well on my shoulder.

Sleep has been terrible the past few days and I just haven’t had the energy to go to the gym before work on my closing shift days. I wake up feeling like death and it’s so hard to be motivated rn.

Got an opening shift today so will he hitting the gym after work. Deads 5/3/1 and squats 5x10. Hanging leg raises for accessory work. My goals for the year are to be able to bench 300+, squat 400+ and deadlift 500+. 5/3/1 has always been a good program for me to make progress but I’ve been so bad about being consistent. I feel like I can probably get close on bench but I’ve always been bad at squats so I progress slow on them. But hitting them twice a week has helped me get over the hate for them.

Not sleeping well has taken a big toll on diet lately because my sweet tooth has been out of control. I’m not a big soda drinker but I do enjoy a Coke Zero every once in awhile to break the monotony. I absolutely love the Mountain Dew zero sugar so I’ll be grabbing that as well. 8 know they aren’t “good for you” but much better than the 40+ g sugar I would be getting with an alternative.

Dropping carbs from lunch and will be transitioning to dropping them from breakfast as well. Eventually will drop them from dinner as well and go low/no carb. Hopefully this slow transition makes PSMF much easier.

I’m trying to be a reader and make that a regular part of my life. Currently listening to “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins. I’ve read it before but the audio book is so much better.

After the gym the other night I was at the house and ended up slipping and falling down a few stairs. Messed my lower back and right hip up and hurting pretty bad. Been resting this weekend with ice and heat alternating. Gonna try to go to the gym tonight and see what all I can do.

Idk if I’ve lost weight, haven’t stepped on a scale in a few days but I’m on the last hole of my belt and feels like my pants are fitting better.

Gonna try to be as good as I can food wise while at Disney but it’s vacation/honeymoon so I’m definitely going to enjoy myself.

I really want to hit the big 3 after the trip really hard because I really want to but my lifting goals. I’m going to attempt to start adding in a little cardio for in the mornings and it will be good to take the dogs on walks and stuff and get them out of the house.

Hope you kill it man. I ran 5/3/1 a LONG time ago and actually enjoyed it. Saw decent gains.

Hope your lower back feels better soon man
