Quick stats
I am 6' 1"
169 lbs
I was planning on doing a bulk for gaining muscle and decides to find out howmuch muscle I can gain in 2 months so I got a dexa scan which is available for 60$ in Dallas.
I have a bio impedance scale that clocks me at 14% BF and I knew that wasn't too accurate and estimated my self around 20% BF.
The Dexa scan reveals me at 30% BF and it blew my mind. I have only about 115lbs of lean muscle and 50lbs of fat.
I attached a body picture for reference as well.
Any tips? I am planning on training at a caloric deficit.

Yeah, just at a glance I'd say you're in the mid to high 20's range.
And you're unlikely to gain more than 1-2 lbs of muscle in a month anyways.
Good plan to train on a deficit. All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

I'd say low to mid 20s - oh and you're exactly the height and weight I was when I started getting into shape. I'm just 1lb heavier now but my body composition is much improved.
