5g/day is where you should aim for if you’re going to take it.

    Definitely worth it. 5g/day, monohydrate.

It's incredibly well-researched, all studies have found positive effects, and it's dirt cheap

Not necessary, completely up to you. Be warned creatine monohydrate May cause stomach pains and bloating even on a maintenance dose and properly hydrated, it did me. But their are alternatives like creatine HCL, con-cret, etc

    Yes.

3-5 grams a day, any time of day, in any beverage, every day, no loading, no cycling. If you take 5g you can skip a couple days a week easy and it won't matter

Absolutely. I'm currently using Kaged Muscle's CreaClear - a more digestible version of monohydrate. Some people have issues with that.

If you have no issues digestion-wise, you can find it pretty affordably lots of places.

Ordered it see how it goes

Currently my protein powder has 2g of creatine in it

So should I take 3g instead of 5g or is the creatine in my protein powder likely trash?

If you aren't even going to trust the creatine content of your powdered food, how the hell are you going to trust it as a food/protein source?

An additional 3g on top of 2g contained in your protein will be plenty

Any particular reason? Better results or different effects or? I'm not that familiar with Creatine HCL.

It’s supposedly more soluble than monohydrate, which means you don’t have to take as much, which can reduce risk of side effects like stomach pain—but it’s not than well-researched in humans yet

    Hi,

I know that it is the most researched supplement on the market, but how do you know if it helps you?

Let's say you take creatine and work out and have a decent nutrition
    You notice gains
    Do you praise the creatine?
Why? How do you know that those gains aren't from working out and nutrition?

Or let's say you work out and you are stagnating. Not many gains.
After a few month you decide to take creatine.
    You notice some gains.
Is it the creatine or maybe those gains just appeared later, after hard work?

I've taken it in the past, years ago, due to advices like "man, I can lift more when I take it", "Man, you feel your muscles much harder, like iron, when you work out" and "Man, your muscles will get bigger"

I didn't notice harder muscles. And yes, there were some gains, but maybe because of lifting stuff?
I was bloated sometimes, I peed less, even though I drank a lot of water, constipation.

And still, I just bought creatine yesterday.
I don't know why the hell, but I did it.
It's cheap and as an experiment, most probably.

Not true that it's going to make you bald. If you're predisposed to male pattern baldness, it may accelerate, but it isn't going to make you bald if it weren't already genetically going to happen.
