The coincidence is just that, a coincidence. Coronavirus isn't a specific virus that's new, it's a family of viruses to which things like SARS also belong. Hence the piece you've linked is about a hypothetical variant of Coronavirus.
As for the first thing you said, there might be more merit to that actually. It just so happens that there is a level 4 biosafety lab at ground zero (only 53 of these exist in the world).Het bier zal weer vloeien

One interesting thing to notice btw is that when Ebola was going around it was this huge hype that was on the news every single day like it was gonna wipe out humanity, and then nothing happened. Meanwhile the 2019-nCoV virus hardly gets any attention at all in the media even though it's looking to be far more dangerous.

This Is How China Is Hiding The True Number Of Coronavirus Deaths
Here's how the WSJ describes this treacherous "bait and switch":
A 53-year-old fitness trainer died on Wednesday after checking into a hospital in Wuhan a little more than a week earlier, said his niece. His family had expected the death certificate to reflect the deadly coronavirus, because as his condition deteriorated, his doctors told his family he was suffering from an untreatable virus in his lungs.
Instead, it recorded “severe pneumonia” as the cause of death, she said. The relatives of two other people who died in separate hospitals in Wuhan this week also described similar situations, saying the causes of death had been given as “viral pneumonia.”"I am a rational animal who occupies the intermediary position between angel and beast"

Ebola was too deadly. It was like a fire snuffing itself out. We got lucky it mutated the right way as well
People should watch documentaries on spanish flu. That was terrifying.
The biggest danger in a virus is its ability to spread. Less lethal virus spread further for longer.
The death toll isnt as shocking to start but itll slow burn for a long timeaka. Tomthetrainwreck

1. It's not that deadly.
2. Chinese are 100% lying about the numbers.
3. Mainland Chinese are nasty uneducated mother ****ers so they always are the cause of widespread coronaviruses being spread.
If it mutates and continues to spread, and that mutation is far more deadly then we fuked. Usually THAT is the real fear. But now that everyone is aware of it, it wouldn't get a chance to spread as far. If it had been super deadly out the gate it would have been super black plague bad.

Does a surgical mask protect against a virus?
https://www.foxnews.com/health/do-su...st-coronavirus
“Surgical masks will not prevent your acquiring diseases”
“A more protective mask, known as an N-95 respirator, may be more effective”

Dumb species.
cus, you know, Americans eat Tide pods on the daily. It's considered a delicacy in the US, they do it all the time.
Just like Chinese eat bats 24/7
Just nuke China, and the US.
You know what? Just nuke the entire planet, because a few dumbasses do stupid shyt in order to get attention.
Just use your mind for a moment, if you are able to.
If eating bats (or live mice, or Tide pods, or 50 burgers in one sitting) was a common thing, why would anyone bother videoing or photographing it?
These morons are clearly doing something unusual and gross in order to get attention, why record it otherwise?

is it going to kill everyone? No not at all. It's more concerning and dangerous to us than Ebola was though. Ebola is fkn horrifying but it's at it's most infectious when victims are haemorrhaging blood all the place, so it's a no brainer to avoid them. Flu-like diseases are much more insidious because the symptoms are less dramatic and then some victims get pneumonia and die.
BTW the next Spanish Flu epidemic is inevitably going to occur one year and when it does, the death toll will be over 100 million. Ebola is a non-threat, but flu is serious business."A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."
