Yes, go back to the basics, because you're doing something wrong. It takes years to build a good chest, but you should be further along. Have someone watch your technique, control & form.

Also, there is no benefit to knowing your bf% at this point. It is irrelevant until you have more muscle.

If you bench 245 for 3 I am guessing it is your form that is way off

You are probly not engaging your chest proply at all focus on form not weight

Just as I suspected... If you just lose body fat your chest will look better. Unusually harsh replies here. How tall are you? If you're under 6 ft and 190 pounds then you've got a decent amount of muscle and as you know probably look much better when leaner. Keep doing your thing and getting stronger and when you're ready to show it off just lean down

You really need someone there watching you that knows form. Lighten up the weight and focus on technique. It's way more important then the pushing crazy weight. Sometimes less is better, especially after you have a couple of injuries under your belt.

    Trust me!

5"10 and thank you for the reply, I had a talk with one of my good friends at college a few hours ago about unrealistic expectations and maybe I shouldn't compare myself to fitness models online.
