    thanks for all of the replies. some answers to some of the questions -

    1. i'm not a big guy 5'6" - i can't consume a lot of calories with my frame and still stay lean.
    2. my bodyspace pics (130) are about 10 pounds lighter than i am now (140). i involuntarily winter bulked and need to cut that 10. i have to go low calories at my size even with my activity level.
    3. that 10 pounds goes mostly to my lower abs - i'm want the super trim waist back - 29-30".
    4. once every week or two i will still go out and have a few social seltzer/tequilas and a cheat meal - but this will be my regular daily diet.
    5. i'll throw in some random steamed vegetables too but not counting them.
    6. black coffee, seltzer, hot sauce helps too.
    7. plan is to cut 1 pound per week.
    8. age 50.
    9. not trying to be big - i like skinny-ripped. see bodyspace pics before you judge.
    10. i've done the grilled fish/chicken and steamed veggies diet before. it works. i wanted to try something different and more fun with no cooking.
    11. see my post earlier in thread for my workout routine. 7 days/week.

    I don't even know what it is to eat 1500kcals...

    I start cutting at 4000.
    and in the end of it... I'm eating around 2700-2800kcals.


    But yeah bro.. 87g protein is not enough. I like to cut at 3g/kg but you don't need this much.

    You have 140lbs (so, around 63kg) I would use around 150-160g protein if I were you. (around 2.5g/kg)
