I thought it was called a 4 way hip. Not a bad way to do glute work and nice for hip flexor. Alternatively useable for what has been discussed, but a great way to develop hip flexor drive for football and rugby... I don't consider that gay personally.

I am putting one in my gym, and its crowded already so I would'nt say it's a waste of space for everyone

It can be quite useful if you need to work the hips and such

A lot of hate for this rig in this thread, I believe based on ignorance/lack of experience with it.

Waste of space? It's a smaller footprint than adductor or abductor machines; it effectively replaces both and allows the female lifter to work these groups in a more dignified position. Additionally it allows for a hip extension movement similar to that of the butt-blaster, waste of space just doesn't describe this piece.

My favorite utilization is the hip flexor isolation it gives. I don't think anything else can duplicate it. I recommend you gentlemen give this thing a shot sometime, don't allow homophobia to hinder your gains.
