    Why do I feel exhausted all the time?

    I've started gym again after 5 months, I try to go 3-4 days per week i'm taking my vitamins ... But I just feel so exhausted throughout. Going to gym or even going to class is an effort for me and even during workouts, I tend to gas out, but I'm just in my second week after 5 months


    Is it my sleep, I reckon I get about 5-7 hours per sleep everynight ... And I know people say you need 8 hours of sleep, but I feel like most people manage to function with even lesser time or about the same. I'm also taking Zinc piccolinate, and apparently that makes you quite exhausted?


    Does anyone else feel the same way?

    What's the difference between Zinc Pickles and standard zinc? Not aware

    Maybe try removing it for 7 days and see if there's any difference, there could be a potential for mental wear if you aren't taking time for yourself mang.

    Sleep more, just because others can function on less doesn't mean you can. Well you can for a bit but you'll eventually crash. I know some people who are good on 3-5 hours. I would not even dare to try and do that.
    When you sleep, try not to watch tv. Read a book and go to sleep or just pass out without any type of light in your face.

    def try getting more sleep. Some people are programmed to be able to function with less sleep, doesn/t mean you are. Consistently getting 8 hours of sleep per night will make a world of difference.

    your body is probably adjusting to the schedule with your routine now layered in. Give up the supps for a bit and see if there's anything stressing you out or occupying your mental energy.

    Work on getting a good QUALITY sleep routine as well. Cut out bad habits (drinking, smoking, fapping, video games, etc.) If you have any, of course. check back in a few weeks. The weather can also have an impact. Living in the south, I get a bit foggy when we get hit with extreme cold as my body is not use to it.

    sleep is bull**** if ur perfectly healthy. sure getting 9 hours of sleep is optimal but it doesn't really affect healthy individuals that much to a point where you feel serious chronic fatigue. i was working 6 days a week 12 hours a week very physical and mental job with 4 hours commute by public transit while still be able to gym at 5 every morning on 5-7 hours of sleep for years.

    it's definitely outside factors. hormones, diet, weather, depression, sickness, a health condition, injury to the head or neck

    One of the most common symptoms of hypothyroidism is feeling worn out. Thyroid hormone controls energy balance and can influence whether you feel ready to go or ready to nap.

    As an extreme example, animals that hibernate experience low thyroid levels leading up to their long sleep (2Trusted Source).

    Thyroid hormone receives signals from the brain and coordinates cells to change their functions, depending on what else is going on in your body.

    Those with high levels of thyroid hormone feel nervous and jittery. In contrast, people with low thyroid feel exhausted and sluggish.

    In one study, 138 adults with hypothyroidism experienced physical exhaustion and reduced activity. They also reported low motivation and feeling mentally tired (3Trusted Source, 4).

    Low-thyroid individuals feel unrested, even though they may be sleeping more.

    You've told us about all the supps you are taking but haven't mentioned your diet, the thing that fuels you. No amount of supps which make up for a bad diet and if you're trying to lose weight then obviously being on a calorie deficit will effect your energy levels.

    test levels are good, got it checked last year i was around 700-800 somewhere

    Maybe I'll wean off the zinc piccolo for now .... Mental stress, not so much .. im doing good in uni, but dad has a few tests to get checked so thats definitely on my mind and worrying me.
