    I've always been able to get a good mind/muscle connection when training my biceps, but in the last half year, I've found an exercise that takes it up a notch and gives me the most ridiculous pumps I've ever had while training. They are behind the back cable curls performed seated in front of a dual cable pulley station. I set up the bench so that when I am seated, my arms are stretched behind my body with each hand holding an individual cable attachment. I perform the curl like a drag curl almost where my elbows stay behind my body. The constant tension makes the pump brutal and I don't have to use much weight at all, which saves my elbows.

    What Pumps me up is being where people don’t wanna go. Being some where that is miserable like running in the rain and the cold that people don’t like. That’s where I wanna be, and that’s what pumps me up.

    I don't have a particular exercise that gives me the best pump, but I use a particular rep scheme to give me the best pump on basically any exercise (easier on machines for sure). Rest/Pause followed by a drop set. Find whatever my 10 rep max is, do it, wait 10 or 12 seconds, get 4 or 5 more reps, and then immediately drop the weight in half and go until failure. Feel like a beast with that pump.

    For me the workout that gets me the most pumped is squats. When I start my workout with squats all my other lifts just feel so much better. Probably due to the fact that squats use most of the muscles in your body. If you don't already do this I highly recommend it.

    For pump occlusion training for arms using vt grips really squeezing the muscle forcing blood into the overall, inner and outer heads of the bicep. for tricep isolating overall , inner and outer triceps doing lots of reps, behind the head presses.

    For me the best one is rear delt flys. I used to struggle with these (along with most shoulder workouts in general) when I first started out and always hated to do them, but since I started back up and worked on the form for rear delt flys I find these to be my favorite now. I can feel the movement and is probably one of the first exercises where I fully understood what mind muscle connection was. As a result, I have had better strides in most of my shoulder exercises, and I ensure that this exercise is in at least two of my workouts a week.

    For me dumbbell preacher curls done with a triple drop set is what gets my guns loaded to the
    point where I've been stopped by NYPD for carrying exposed weapons I do two sets first just to
    get the biceps going and I work up to my heaviest weight then I do two triple drops sets where I go
    down 5lbs on each drop and when I'm finished my bi's are pumped but this is usually my 2nd exercise
    then I finish the bi's off with something like barbell drag curls or dumbbell spider curls.
