Rogue squat stand vs Titan Squat stand. Which one to buy?

So I was originally gonna buy a squat rack but since this is going in my basement I want something that isn't as quite bulky and hard to move. I understand that a power rack is always gonna be superior.

So after doing some research I've narrowed my options down to the Rogue echo squat stand 2.0 with the infinity spotter arms (apparently these fit with this rack). The other option is Titan fitness X3 squat stand with the spotter arms.

As of now we are talking 380$ for titan vs 480$ for rogue. Is the 100$ more really worth it for the Rogue? This includes shipping and taxes in the prices.

Might want to double check on the Infinity spotter arms fitting the Echo. Their website says the Echo has .625" holes, but the S-series racks say they have .625" hardware. .625" hardware doesn't fit .625" holes. Wouldn't be a hard fix to enlarge holes if needed, but also not something I'd want to do to a brand new rack.

I'll also add that the Titan or Infinity spotter arms only offering 20" of coverage from the uprights seems really short.

If it’s bolt together then it doesn’t matter if it’s squat stands or a full rack. If it’s in your budget get the full rack. The foot prints should be fairly equal.
Rogue resale value is pretty high so if you ever wanted to unload a rogue rack you can get most of your $$ back.

Rogue recently upgraded their Echo squat stand from 2x2 to 2x3 (I hadn't been aware of this prior to seeing this thread), and they apparently use the Infinity J-cups on the rack now, so the spotter arms should fit as well. A couple of reviewers are saying they use the Infinity arms on theirs without a problem.

I don't think Rogue recommends the use of spotter arms without a pullup bar. You will have to step up to the S-2 or SML-2.

It would make sense, just saying that's not what they list on their website.

Might want to shoot them an email or give them a call to confirm; I got a surprise from them once. The Monster Lite monolift attachment, it turns out, won't fit my Monster Lite rack, the 24" rack isn't deep enough, even though the measurements on the website would make you think it would fit. Calling them before ordering saved me some hassle....

I get that a rack is a better option. Unfortunately I cant do the rack in the basement.

I called rogue to check and they confirmed that their new Echo stands have larger holes that fit their safety bars. I think I'm gonna go with the rogue. For only 80$ I get a better quality product that will most likely hold its value better. Reps until I'm out.

You wrote Titan X3, did you mean T3?

The echo would be 2x3, the X3 is 3x3.

If what you wrote is correct, Titan all day. $100 cheaper and more stable? Why is that even a question?

imho, yes. I have 5-6 Titan accessory pieces and between the welds, alignment issues, etc. I wouldn't buy Titan for any piece whose failure could cause loss of life or limb. Heck, I'm not even sure I would buy an accessory piece from them again.
