Been back at gym for 3weeks..
Cut out the cookies..and have been walking on treadmill everyday since..
Scale is not my friend..
I feel better and am so happy to be working out again..but its discouraging when i see orhers do same thing and pounds melt off ..
Any advice?

Fatloss comes from a calorie deficit. Sometimes cutting something out just prevents you from gaining any more weight so it can be necessary to lower calories further. As mentioned you need to count calories as this lets you know where you're at but also keeps you accountable for you calorie amounts.
Start by cutting out processed carbs (pasta, bread, etc) and consume as many green veggies and lean protein (chicken breast, etc) as possible. Cut alcohol if you drink. Fatloss can be difficult and will take more effort than cutting out a few cookies.If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough

Thanks for the ad support..guess that guy was right..
Now a couple of things..
Im 41...what should my calorie count be?
Im trying 2200 per day..
And im not deducting for exercise..
Its 2200 firm
And my calorie count was off the chart...i was eating 3 boxes of chips ahoy per week..
So instead im eating strawberries and bananas and yogurt..
Im really confused. But i wont give up..cant again..did that last time and this is where it got me..

As to what calorie level either pick 2200 or use the TDEE calculator on the link I posted.
Run it for a couple week and see if you lose weight if not drop calories by another 200-300.
Also don't count back exercise calories that is included in your TDEE maintenance.
