I'm looking for soft protein bars/snacks. All of the ones I've ever had have been either chewy or crunchy and I'm on a TMJ diet of soft food only. Thanks!

I have been dealing with TMJ issues as well. I would say your best bet is to heat a quest bar in the microwave for about 10-12 seconds to soften it up. One bars are pretty soft but the chewiness can cause issues and those don't take being microwaved very well since the outside is like a chocolate coating like a candy bar.
Just an aside, I started doing the exercises below for the last three weeks and the progress I have seen is incredible. I went from a year and a half in near constant pain and not able to eat hardly anything to feeling almost back to normal. The key I found is to just keep doing the exercises every single day. The first week or two might be rough but it does get better and is the only thing that I have found to actually work (and that includes visits to doctors, dentists, and a TMJ specialist).

Quest bars are delicious microwaved. I tend to do mine for 30 seconds, but it depends on the power of your microwave. Then I put a little dollop of icecream on top.
I also find you can keep Quest bars long after their expiry date because even if they go a little hard, the microwave softens them up again.
