    Texas method balance

So im want to give TM a go but noticed that the pull push ratio and quad ham ratios seem off (based on the fierce 5 balancing rules). Has anyone with expereince got any advice on how to balance the routi e without messing with recovery?

There is no need to "balance" anything, give your padawan this program as it is.
Correct balancing is based on an understanding of the work of skeletal muscles, rather than a primitive recalculation of the ratios of pulling up to pushing, and bending of legs to extension.
    bench press 167.5 kgx1, 125 kgx13, 100 kgх24
    standing press 100 kgx1, 82,5 kg 4 sets х 5 reps
    deadlift 230 kgx1, 200 kgx4, 190 kg 3 sets x 5 reps
    raw squat 180 kgx1, 150 kg 5x5
    chin-ups +25 kg x10 reps

Yeah but you have to admit theres little back work in there (as written). 1×5/week deadlift is hardly enough

What’s your motivation for doing TM?

Just asking to get an idea of your goals.

Some people will add in chin-ups. 1-2x a week or will alternate chins and pull-ups.

I tried it years ago and wasn’t a fan, but there are ways to modify.

What about Madcow? Very similar, and it has BB rows on Mon and Fri.

Hyperextension (or GHR to choose from) on Wednesday, as well as power clean on Friday, is also a "back" work.

Probably what Tommy is looking for is shoulder health via equal pushing/pulling. TM has a lot of pressing compared to little pulling, that mix isn't good for shoulders.
