Khabib maximum crazy without being psychotic.
Tony minimum crazy with actual psychotic symptoms (high functioning schizoid).
Its a shame its in NY. I think Tony might actually go for the murder. Tony will have a bag of tricks for when he's in vulnerable positions, khabib got nothing but a rear-naked choke for stand up fighters. Tony gonna break out that 11th Planet JJ.

Was such a bizarre presser
Tony claiming he’s in Khabibs head while being irate as fuk to not only khabib but also the media
He got burned by khabib a few times and he snapped at all of them, hell he snapped when khabib didn’t even say anything lol
Was very interesting listening to the crowd to, they were cheering and booing both men haha
Can not wait for this fight

Lmfao @ “you are fake Mexican just like your fake belt, understand?” before he kicked that ****.
This was the most entertaining presser in a long time, these two guys legit cannot stand one another. This made the Khabib vs Conor presser look peaceful.
Khabib vs Ferg just sold itself big time, I cannot possibly wait.

I dont get how anyone can say Khabib came anywhere near winning anything.
Khabib came in all boring and respectful.
The PRIMARY trigger was Tony bringing up street fights. Thats when Khabib got triggered. Thats when Tony won.
After that he abstractly raised his level of intensity.
The funny thing is Tony is probably the favorite to win by quite a long shot. Lets not forget he hasn't lost since 2012 lol.
Tony Ferguson is the type to beat Khabib and make it seem like other fighters were just weak lol. I am very sure about this. Every time I have visualized what it would take to beat Khabib I think about what that would be, and then I see Tony Ferguson fights exactly like how that would be.
I feel like even Khabib knows hes in trouble thats why he was so glazed at first and then did some 4/10 trolling to sell the fight but everyone who knows the true skill level of Tony knows Khabib is gonna get out played and dominated. There will be rolling escapes, mark my words.
When Tony started talking about ankle picks I knew Khabib was done lol.

If the fight actually goes down, I got Khabib winning based solely on style.
The fact I see is that Tony's biggest strengths are his huge stamina and volume strikes (his famous unpredictability isn't an advantage here*). And Khabib's style is just perfect to beat that. When Khabib grabs you, he depletes your energy very quickly -huge tank or not-. Also Khabib is a known pussy (i.e. avoids risk) when it comes to trading strikes on standup, wouldn't call it good defense but it gives Tony a smaller opening to use his biggest strength.
Khabib's best shot at winning is if Tony tries something unpredictable that stupidly leaves him open to be wrestled down then Tony tries to use his -great- jujitsu to stop Khabib's trademark "constrict-pound-advance position". Tony trained most of his life in jujitsu, and Khabib trained to deal with jujitsu most of his life. Khabib takes the advantage on the ground
Tony's best shot is to keep the fight on their feet and forgo some of his impulsiveness for some caution and defend against Khabib's 5 takedowns attempts. Khabib's failed takedowns take a big chunk out of his stamina because he goes all-in when shooting for the ground. Failing leaves him open for Tony to dismantle him, Tony shines at hurting people very quickly
Most times history has taught us that mind beats heart. In short, Tony's unhinged and one of his moves will give the opening for Khabib wrestle him down; and struggle to finish him
I hope I'm wrong tho, I'm not an experienced MMA fighter
*Tony isn't "Jon Jones unpredictable", he isn't that kind of cerebral fighter. He creates chaos that is out of both fighters' control then relies on experience/instinct to make the best of it. His "unpredictability" has worked against him at times.

anyway I think Khabib easily beats Tony.
Tony doesn't have KO power, not enough to knock out Khabib imo.
He beats people by a constant barrage of an attack that wears them down. The stamina, the grit. Difference here is Khabib is not a striker and will take it to the ground eventually, and will do so many times.
Tony was getting out wrestled by Kevin Lee for crying out loud. He's not going to out do khabib on the ground. Khabib wins it because he can counter Tony's strength. I don't think Tony can counter his. Small chance that Tony elbows the fuk out of him on the ground and takes it.
I think the best shot at beating Khabib right now in the world in the lightweight division is either Justin Gaethje or George St. Pierre if he comes back. I think GSP can beat Khabib. Better striker, phenomenal takedown defence.

kevin lee is a decent wrestler tbh and a nightmare fight for khabib.
The way I see it is, if tony is to win he makes khabib work to tire him out for the later rounds and gets a stoppage. Otherwise, khabib holds him down to a dec.
Both are very likely, I lean more towards khabib by dec, but if tony stops him in rd 3,4 or 5 I won't be suprised motherfukers.....Atlas.....
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
