    Best preworkout I've had is one I made myself (serious)

    Caffeine powder
    Glycerol powder (hydromax)
    Citrulline
    Taurine
    Malic acid
    Little bit of beta-alanine

    And drink a ton of water. Try it.

    For some reason most actual pre-workouts make me tired (low blood pressure kind of feeling), or have things like vitamin-C that just f uck up your stomach. Niacin is another crappy ingredient in a lot of them. And so many have creatine, but I want to stay away from it.

    Any reason why you add citruline and malic acid instead of just citruline malate? Cost?

    This. Just buy a pre-made pre with that stuff in it and save your time and likely get better flavor profiles.

    There is no reason to add malic acid.
