    Cycle Cardio and weights

    Hey guys was just wondering if it would be an effective way to train if, i did 3 weeks of weight training and then did 1 week of cardio and kept going back and fourth?

    Don't know why it would. Of course it depends on your goals and your capacity to do work. For instance, you might not need cardio at all if you seek body recomposition - and if you don't have the spare capacity to do both cardio and weights in the same week.

    Your lifting efficiency would regress in the week, and if you were in a large calorie deficit, you would be more prone to muscle loss.

    If you want to do cardio (which is good for you anyway), incorporate a sensible amount into your regular weekly routine.

    You could always do more cardio during deload weeks if you take them, but that doesn't need to be every 3 weeks.
