Question How to increase incline bench?

How can I increase my regular 4x10? I feel like the last few weeks I have been stuck at the same weight even though I am eating a lot more
perhaps sometimes the heaviest things are not the weights we carry but our feels

Ive been lifting about 10 years but the past few months I upped my meals a lot and for a solid month or two I had even crazier gains beyond the biggest I ever was, then I stagnated on my lifts, although I think it is because of bad mental focus lately

Some powerlifting techniques...Try different rep ranges. Higher and lower reps. Dead incline bench (start from yhe bottom of the lift with the bar on pins just above your chest, this takes out any strech you get from the eccentric portion of the lift and increases power... it's important to reset after each rep. Let go of the bar, go slack, reset and push because the point is to avoid muscle stretch), static presses (put 500 pounds onto the bar pinned just above your chest and push as hard as you can for 10 second sets) Incline DB.... find your sticking point and work on isolation work...
    225 bodyweight @ 6'3"

    290 bench
    479.5 squat (usapl)
    570 deadlift
    200 OHP

This is where I'd start. Then work through the ROM nearest to the sticking point.

For example if your sticking point is lockout, try floor presses (without incline) and work on delts/tris. Or incline with chains/banded resistance.

If your sticking point is at the bottom, try paused incline presses.
The only way to do something is to do it

what worked for me was throwing in some variations, like incline cable flys, freeweights incline press, and don't forget flys too. And going full bore 20-rep range, like bcsoakar whateverdaphakhespellsit mentioned above.

I think what's helped me is having a spotter, so when I reach failure I do a couple more reps with their help. Next time I'll still use a spotter but aim for one extra rep on my own. Getting a good spotter is important, because a lot of people jump in too early to help you. I've even had spotters help me on the first rep even when I told them I can do 6 reps on my own.

I also increase the weight by just 4 pounds now and again, so it's slow progress.

I also find some days I'm in the "groove" and pump out the reps smoothly, other times the bar feels heavier on one side or I end up stalling earlier, which might be down to stabalisers being fatigued from the day before or something.

anyway, with 4x10 it's pretty impossible IMO to add weight to the bar.

Reduce your rep goal or just embrace the long grind with that scheme.
