How do I lose weight for a movie role?

    Hellllooo! No - I don't actually have a movie role, I wish.

However I am pretty curious on how I can lose weight FAST.
I know that FAST weight loss is everyones dream but I'm willing to put in the work.

I have been going to the gym, eating a lot healthier everyday but not seeing much results.

Currently 5'11 weighing in around 175lbs/80kg..

    -------------------------------------------------------------

My main goal is to get fit by summer, I'm tired of dropping my arms and them bouncing off my dang love handles aha.

Anybody know a plan for me?
I'm willing to eat 500-1000 calories a day if needed, I just don't am lost.
And would love to be pointed in the right direction.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Willing to pay a teacher if needed I will do the work, just need the plan.

Also, get a gym subscription and lift some weights. Start with a full body 3x week.
You won't look much better if you just lose fat.

Eating 500 calories isn't going to go well for you.

Find a TDEE calculator online, get an estimate of where your maintenence is at, eat about 200 calories below maintence and see if the scale starts to move. Ideally, you don't want to be dropping too fast either.

Make sure to back that up with a good routine. I'm guessing that you're still lifting around novice numbers so I'd suggest a full body routine 3x per week such as Fierce 5 (or vikings, starting strength, SL 5x5)

Ppl who binge diet to lose weight really fast tend to gain it back really fast. Lose weight in a reasonable timeframe while you work out, and you'll look better once the fat comes off. You've prob spent years looking that way, so don't expect to have a beach-ready body by summer.

Eating 500 cals/day will help you lose weight fast, but you'll have a lot of other issues. Do it sensibly - you're obviously eating a lot more than that now if you aren't losing weight, so drop your cals by a few hundred and track your cals accurately.

Read the stickies in the Nutrition forum as said above, and read the stickies in the Workout forum and pick a novice routine.

My guess is you've been dieting and working out regularly for about 14 days now, so get that in order, and give it time.... you'll get there. But don't put an arbitrary deadline of June 21st on getting a better body.

5'11" 175lbs. is a healthy weight. Why do you want to lose weight? Especially fast?

I guess your build is skinny-fat? (And I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, that's just the common term for your body's current build type)

You probably want to be focused on lifting.

Edit: OK looked at your pics. Yeah, you have a skinny-fat build. Your issue is not your weight, rather the fact that you lack muscle tone. Again, 175 pounds is healthy at your height so your body's weight in total is not an issue. You want to be lifting weights and eating better. Don't worry about losing weight in your situation, it's how much of that is muscle as compared to fat you should be concerned about. Do you have access to a gym? Find a beginner 3 or 4 day split lifting program, there's plenty on the website, and stick to it.

Keto. I lost about 120 pounds in a few months and didn't feel hungry.
