    calories consumed daily

Is 1600calories a day enough for my body to burn fat? Should i consume less or more calories. Any advice would be appreciated

Go to the fat loss forum and read the 'don't look past the basics' sticky threads at the top of the page.

This forum is not the best place to get input. You need to be able to work out an approximate daily calorie intake (maintenance level) for yourself, run it over time and monitor weight loss - making adjustments as you go. We don't recommend trying to lose more than 1% (so 1kg in your case) each week to avoid muscle loss.
