Australia arrests 183 for setting fires that celebrities claim were climate change

Australia’s rampant and destructive wildfires were started by arson, and fueled by dry conditions and high temperatures, but you’d never know it from the Golden Globes or mainstream media outlets.

In November, a teenage volunteer firefighter from New South Wales was charged with setting 7 bushfires in the region, and then returning with his brigade to fight them. Apparently, he has set 17 fires, and the pyromaniac has now been barred from access to any firefighting equipment.

“When one country faces a climate disaster, we all face a climate disaster,” Cate Blanchett said.

Meanwhile, Russell Crowe’s statement at the Golden Globes, read aloud by Jennifer Anniston, stated that “the tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate change based. We need to act based on science, move our global workforce to renewable energy, and respect our planet for the unique and amazing place it is. That way, we all have a future.”

Yes, but the dry heat made it worse! If this happened in the Artic. "LOOK HOW QUICKLY THE FIRE WENT OUT, MAN MADE GLOBAL COOLING CAUSED THIS."

Although technically, those fires were man made.

So does the liberal policies in place that prohibit any sort of counter active practices that would make fires easier to contain, one can be controlled the other not so much... I guess we should just focus on the one we can’t control huh?

No they’re fueled by an over abundance of fuel due to liberal policies that prohibit the thinning of vegetation that would end wild fires as we know them. Got a problem with climate change? Take it up with India and China, Australia isn’t an offender in that regard. Or you could go against the lib MO and actually give a fuk about something that can be changed and offer solutions versus the norm of complaining non stop while offering nothing.

can someone decipher what an "over abundance of fuel due to liberal policies that prohibit the thinning of vegetation that would end wild fires as we know them" means? cuz it just sounds like incoherent babbling from a disturbed, possibly drunk person
Google Australia anti logging legislation and get back to me.

Edit: temperatures can’t fuel a fire moron, vegetation (trees, grass, shrubs etc) fuel fires. Like I said, if you have an issue with climate change take it up with the countries that contribute to it.

Is greenland getting warmer too? Was Australia cooler centuries ago? If only we had stopped using fossil fuels and polluting the air in the 1500s

Climate change has delivered us the worst bushfires on record, the fact that pyromaniacs should be imprisoned for life + 99 for setting fires in these conditions doesn't change that fact.

IT'S GETTING REAL BAD! The sun is too hot. We gotta go green to lower the temp. My only concern is what if the sun gets even hotter once we all go green. Then what?
