    Sleep

I know that we need lots of sleep in order to build muscle.

Does it still work if I get a lot of sleep, but that sleep is interrupted? Like if I get 7-8 hours of sleep, but very briefly wake up a few times during that, will I still be able to build muscle?

I'm not sure there's anyone over the age of 30 that doesn't at least briefly wake up once or twice most nights.

It's normal to wake up a couple of times at night; you should be able to fall back to sleep relatively quickly without issue.

Waking up to pee roughly 6 hours in is just something I’ve accepted and expect to happen... I have a shake while I’m at it. Stomach is usually growling and I think milk is supposed to help you sleep or something.

Everybody wakes up a few times through the sleep cycle . . . most of the time you dont even remember it.
